Well, both are really fun! Haha. Mass Effect 1's game mechanics and achievement system are definitely showing their age, but the story is still fantastic and IMO, the best way to play the series is to start with 1 and import your character into 2 & 3.

For some weird reason I've been really getting into DCUO this past week. I love how easy it is to level up in this game.

Well, as it turns out I couldn't resist, and extended my PS+ subscription. This month's perk is Red Dead Redemption, although I haven't downloaded it yet. However, I tried Sound Shapes today, and liked it quite a lot.

    Dead Space 2
Much more atmospheric than the first game, darker and jumpier also. Slightly easier so far however due to the variety of weapons available and the amount of power nodes.

Still, here's hoping there is no more Immortal Necromorph

I cut my thumb the day before yesterday, so I needed a game that is primarily played with the shoulder buttons on the controller, although obviously I'd still be using the analogue sticks... So I revisited Mirror's Edge. Apart from moving your character with the sticks, all essential actions are done with the four shoulder buttons. :D

Currently playing Viewtiful Joe 1, Splinter Cell 1, and Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings on my Nintendo Gamecube.

And also planning on getting back into playing Timesplitters Future Perfect, trying to get one of those extra dungeon fighters in Soul Calibur II and trying to get back into Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2

A whole lot of Battlefield 3! I'm loving the Armoured Kill expansion with all the tanks and fighters and everything. Mostly I'm just trying to get the assignments done though. A good round of BF3 is the greatest thing ever, especially if it's a nice long length, but not too long.

I think my time with DCUO has finished for the time being. I've got enough characters so that if I ever decide to go back I'll still have plenty to do. I'm not really fond of much more than solo questing in MMOs (I know that sounds weird) and as soon as I reach level cap I get bored pretty quickly.

Next up is finishing my playthrough of The Last Story.

I was gifted a copy of Faster Than Light.

It's so simple yet the possibilities in it are endless. I highly recommend it.

Having now downloaded and installed Black Mesa (Half Life revamped) I am playing that.

Much as I remember it so far, with some nice little tweaks. Graphics not quite as good as I was expecting but I realise this mod was not made by Valve and so I don't expect it to be as good as stuff they officially make. Some of the voices are not as good as in the original, but I look forward to playing more.
