Finished the ps2 Persona 4. Now, I'm almost done with P4 Golden! I'll do a trophy mop up playthrough afterwards, and then move on to arena!

Finally got around to building my rig in February but waited until the Steam summer sale to pick up a few games.

I'm currently playing Fallout: New Vegas with lots of lore-friendly mods and it's like a completely new experience. Hadn't played it since I had it on xbox 360 a few years back.

 

I've been re-watching most of the World Cup games, so I've picked up a FIFA itch.

 

Skyrim.

 

Gothic II. Fun... but it hasn't aged terribly well, mechanics wise. Apparently the rest makes up for it, but in the early game I'm definitely wondering just why it's considered superior to Risen.

 

I have been playing Halo and Skyrim lately, especially Halo: Anniversary, which I finally finished beating on Legendary. Now I only have Speed Reader, Looking Out for the Little Guys, Never Tell Me the Odds, and the coop achievements left in order to complete Halo: Anniversary. I also finished the Dawnguard main quest recently.

So Risen is actually a good game? It was one of the games my brother and I were given alongside our Xbox 360, but I have never bothered to play it.

 

I've heard mixed things about the 360 version owing to the way the controls were mapped, but I quite enjoy it on PC. The plot is interesting and the combat mechanics are pretty fun. The setting is pretty unique for the genre, being more of a Greco-Mediterranean island thing rather than the usual medieval England faire. If you've already got it, I say give it a shot.

 

Thanks, I will definitely at least give it a solid try at some point. I seriously need a break from Halo and Call of Duty, since they make up the overwhelming majority of my 360 games.

 

Speed Reader. Yeah. That was a fun achievement, just like anything else involving the godsdam Library.

About to start The Last of Us.

 

In finally got the If They Came to Hear Me Beg achievement in Halo: Reach! I ended up doing it at the cliff at the very beginning of The Pillar of Autumn.

 

Alpha Protocol. It's an espionage RPG set in the near future - it opens on an outlandishly implausible scenario where a rebel faction shoots down a passenger jet with a SAM.

... Oh.

 

SWTOR and KOTOR.

This game is seriously big. I have wandered around for ages trying to find various locations.

 

Yes it is enormously big, and enormously fun. Enjoy.

Destiny Beta. Meh. Really. I just can't see myself buying Halo Effect.

 

Playing Crysis 2 on the 360 and KOTOR on PC. Nearly at the end of both games now and both are great.

 

I finally got to the opportunity to play the Destiny Beta on Thursday, and while the gun play is solid, I can't help but think that it feels like Borderlands (I haven't actually played either Borderlands but I have seen the second one played) and the universe still isn't grabbing me like Halo and Marathon. It probably doesn't help matters that in my current setup, Destiny will be completely useless to me.

 

So it turns out that if you kill enemies, rather than tranq'ing them, the game keeps track of "orphans created."

I... uh...

 

I'm still playing The Last of Us, but I don't want to continue playing it because I know it's going to get heavy from here on out.
