Typically on Thursday nights I visit a friend who bartends at a local restaurant here in San Diego. He makes me a cocktail called a Manhasset. It's a 2.5oz whiskey, .25oz sweet and dry vermouth, a tsp of simple syrup, and a few dashes of cherry bitters. The drink is not on the menu; he just makes it for me. It's amazing.
