The last CD I have bought is Springsteen's Born to Run 30th anniversary box. The DVDs are amazing. I love this guy.

I'm listening to some really weird "science songs". Apparently it was som kind of project in the 50's and 60's to teach children about science, to the tune of some folksongs. Google for science songs and you will find it. :D

The last CD I bought was the copy-protected version of Depeche Mode's Playing The Angel, but I turned it back the next day because it was copy-protected, not having listened to any of it.

Right now, I find that I am whistling the Naboo Funeral Theme intermixed with Anakin's theme.

Right now I'm listening to the Swedish Singer/Songwriter Lars Winnerbäck and his acoustic songs from last year. I like the mood of his songs, but the lyrics leave no impression on me.

The last CDs I bought were actually two singles. One of them was the latest release from Depeche Mode. The B-track is brilliant, I wish they'd included it on the album.

Not listening to anything at the moment. But the last CDs I bought were:

    Alison Krauss, Forget About it
    Feist, Let it Die
    John Williams, Munich

All three are highly recommended. :)

Oops, I forgot about this thread. Thanks for digging it up, PiN. :)

At the moment I'm listening to Kind of Blue, by Miles Davis. However, since last time I came in here, I have spent quite a lot of serious money on CDs. Here's the list since last time:

Johnny Cash - Live at Folsom Prison
Johnny Cash - Live at San Quentin
Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock
    Bob Marley - Natty Dread
The Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols
    Janis Joplin - Pearl
    John Williams - Munich
    Phillip Glass - The Hours
    The Best of Parliament
The Best of Earth, Wind and Fire
Muddy Waters - Hard Again (which in my opinion is one of the best albums I've heard)
    The Specials (self titled)
    The Clash - London Calling
    Blonde - Parallel Lines
    The Police - Zenyatta Mondatta
The Rolling Stones - Exile On Main St

I *think* that's it. And yes, I am now very, very poor. But happy. :p

I picked up John Williams' Memoirs of a Geisha last week. Gorgeous score. My favorite tracks are "Becoming a Geisha", "The Chairman's Waltz" and "Sayuri's Theme and End Credits". Also, "The Fire Scene" cue reminds me of "The Immolation Scene" from ROTS.

Indeed. It's terrific. I still need to get "When the Pawn?" to complete my Fiona Apple collection, though.

The last CD I bought was the first Audioslave CD about a week ago. After I listened to it, I wondered what took me so long to buy it. ::grins::

And in complete contrast, right now I am listening to Damien Rice's "The Blower's Daughter" which is a very strange song.

I'm listening to "Absolute Power" from Tech N9ne. If one word could describe it, it'd be "Classic." Excellent album. And it's the first album I've heard from him since I first listened to him a few weeks ago. The dude's unreal... and psychotic. ;)

Looking forward to Anghellic and Vintage Tech once I get the dough to buy them.

Listening to Paul's Boutique right now.

Can't think of the last thing I bought. I rarely if ever buy CD's anymore. It was probably either Bon Jovi's Crossroads or Duran Duran's Greatest.
