Maybe to you... But not to everyone.
*mumbles something about the millions of fair-weather Metallica fans*

    fair weather...

metallica has been outa my radar since 1990... they lost something back then and havent gotten it back.

BTW...if you like it...like it. Im just posting my opinion...not bashing anyone who does... I respect those sites/peoples opinions so I shared them with those who are interested.

I like some gay stuff too... most power metal is really cheesy but hey I make no appologies liking it.

    :)

Yes to me. But Dark Jedi Dragon's opinion is the only one that matters to Dark Jedi Dragon. And my opinion is as stated above. The black (or selftitled, whatever) album was the last thing I really enjoyed from Metallica.

Take it easy there dark Dragon, don't go irkin' the PFF'ers! :p

    ;)

But seriously, I could not get into St. Anger, it just didn't sound like Metallica to me. Maybe I'll get used to the new sound, who knows.

Last week I got my cd burner working AND I redownloaded Kazza! Yay me! I made a killer cd for my trek to San Diego. I made a groovin dance cd...JT, Biggie, Mary J, Eve & Gwen, Ice Cube, Beasties, old Michael Jackson, and I even put The Humpty Dance and Ice Ice Baby on it... Couldn't stop laughing all day while my brother cranked it and shook his bootie in the car [face_laugh] Ah good weekend. Nothing better than getting music free and making the ultimate cd!

The Ringing in my ears from BODYCOUNT at the Mason Jar last night.

And after hearing the new Metallica alot, I like it.
Yeah, it BIG TIME has no DYNAMICS. Drums sound awful, same guitar sound.
But the entire cd has catchy songs that I want to listen to.
I can sing lyrics from at least half the album.
I dont own Load or ReLoad but ask any average fan to name or sing any song NOT released on the radio from those albums and they usually can't.

So, my new opinion of the CD is a C+
Could be much, much, much better.
But its WAY better than the previous 2 CDs.
    Its only my opinion though.

Its nice to know that despite the band lineup changes, Hes still got it.
They played mostly from the 1st 2 albums and only 1 song from the 3rd one.
Which amazes me cause the 2nd one "Born Dead" isnt that fantastic.
And the 3rd album is extremely underrated.

He said their going to make a new album.
He needs to write another controversial song.

All I can say is that I love Kreleia for turning me on to these people!!!!!!!!

    Nightwish - Wishmaster

This is the first song I have heard by them and I have to say I am breathless. The lead singer is to die for.

Also on that list to name a few were:
    Safety Dance
    Take on Me!
    I Want a New Drug
    In a Big Country
    Talking in Your Sleep
ANYTHING by Duran Duran, Madonna, or Michael Jackson

As for what I am listening to now...
I'm back into listening to the Buffy Musical again, and System of a Down...
    weird combo.

When I feel like singing, I crank the Buffy Musical, Evita, and Annie. Now how's THAT for a mental image. :p

I've never seen you look like this without a reason
    Another promise fallen through
    Another season passes by you
I never took the smile away from anybody's face
And that's a desperate way to look
For someone who is still a child
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lover's voice fires the mountainside
    Stay alive
I thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered
But you can't stay here with every single hope you had shattered
I'm not expecting to grow flowers in a desert
But I can live and breathe
And see the sun in wintertime
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lover's voice fires the mountainside
    Stay alive
    Stay alive
So take that look out of here it doesn't fit you
Because it's happened doesn't mean you've been discarded
Pull up your head off the floor?come up screaming
Cry out for everything you ever might have wanted
I thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered
But you can't stay here with every single hope you had shattered
I'm not expecting to grow flowers in a desert
But I can live and breathe
And see the sun in wintertime
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lover's voice fires the mountainside
    Stay alive (repeat 3)

    Safety-Dance!

Ah we can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're are no friends of mine
I say, we can go where we want to, A place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind,
    and we can dance

We can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're are no friends of mine
I say, we can go where we want to a place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind
    and we can dance.

    Francois!

Ah we can go when we want to the night is young and so am I
And we can dress real neat from our hats to our feet
and surprise 'em with the victory cry

I Say we can act if want to if we don't nobody will
And you can act real rude and totally removed
And i can act like an imbecile
I say we can dance, we can dance everything out control
We can dance, we can dance we're doing it wall to wall
We can dance, we can dance everybody look at your hands
We can dance, we can dance everybody takin' the chance
    Safety dance
    Oh well the safety dance
    Ah yes the safety dance

    Ssss-Aaaa-Ffff-Eeee-Tttt-Yyyy
    Safety-Dance

We can dance if we want to, we've got all your life and mine
As long as we abuse it, never gonna lose it
    Everything'll work out right
I say, we can dance if we want to we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're are no friends of mine
I say we can dance, we can dance everything out control
We can dance, we can dance we're doing it wall to wall
We can dance, we can dance everybody look at your hands
We can dance, we can dance everybody's takin' the chance
    Oh Well the safety dance
    ah yes the safety dance
    Oh well the safety dance
    Oh well the safety dance
    Oh yes the safety dance
    Oh the safety dance yeah
    Oh it's the safety dance
    It's the safety dance
    Well it's the safety dance
    Oh it's the safety dance
    Oh it's the safety dance
    Oh it's the safety dance
    Oh it's the safety dance

    Poor old Johnny Ray
    Sounded sad upon the radio
He moved a million hearts in mono
Our mothers cried and sang along and who'd blame them
Now you're grown, so grown, now I must say more than ever
Go toora loora toora loo rye aye
And we can sing just like our fathers
Come on Eileen, well I swear (what he means)
At this moment, you mean everything
With you in that dress my thoughts I confess
    Verge on dirty
    Ah come on Eileen
These people round here wear beaten down eyes
    Sunk in smoke dried faces
They're so resigned to what their fate is
But not us, no not us
We are far too young and clever
Eileen I'll sing this tune forever
    Come

Sensation washes over me, I can't describe it. Pain I felt so long ago, I don't remember. Tear a hole so I can see my devastation. Feelings from so long ago, I don't remember.

Holding on to let them know what's given to me (given to me). To hide behind the mask this time and try to believe.

Blind your eyes to what you see, you can't embrace it. Leave it well enough alone and don't remember. Cut your pride and watch it bleed, you can't deny it. Pain you know you can't ignore, I don't remember.

Holding on to let them know what's given to me (given to me). To hide behind the mask this time and try to believe.

If I can remember to know this will conquer me. If I can just walk alone and try to escape into me.

dude that shampoo/conditioner line is one of my FAVORITES from Billy Madison...but you forgot the "OH REALLY FOOL!" and "Stop looking at me swan!" ;)
"NO milk will ever be OUR milk Billy"
"Peeing your pants is the coolest!"

Is the million dollars line from Heathers?? Most of my favorite lines from THAT movie can't even be posted on here. :p Basically they're the ah, Mother Theresa one, the geek's response at the funeral to the jocks, and JD's response to the jocks about the cafeteria's "open door" policy. :p

But "you're a bluebird. You're a brownie. You're a girl scout cookie" is also great.
