I am listening to "Refused - The Shape of Punk to Come"

This album was the final for one of the greatest European punk rock bands in the world. After they broke up they reformed, with a few changes, as "The International Noise Conspiracy" who rocks also. I just got into a Refused state of mind and popped it in.

 

Bad Religion - Pessimistic Lies.

Mostly because besides soundtracks, BR is the band I have most on my playlist. It just works out that way.

 

That is one punk rock band I have never gotten into. though I respect Brett for starting Epitaph records.

That dude was funny in "Waiting" the movie. I had no idea he had a cd. Do you know where I could get a copy wink wink. If you are coming to the meeting and could bring it that would be cool.

 

ive been listaning to alot of Matisyahu and my Ipod has been dead for a week and its the only cd in my car but i always have Flogging Molly on cuz crazy drunk irshmen rule OLAY OLAY OLAY OLAY! OLAY! OLAY!

 

I'm listening to "Journey of the Spirit" by Synchestra. It's part of a playlist of misc. new age instrumental, most of which came from my Dad who playes it in his clkassroom to keep his students calm. I find music like this to be relaxing and great background music to study by.

I'm listening to The Sword: "Age of Winters".

Neo-70's-Black Sabbath-D & D Nerd Metal revivalist rock. It's freaking awesome. Doom metal not heard since the likes of Mastodon...I can't stop listening to it. Makes me want to cover my coffee table in velvet, light the incence, paint Frazetta on my van, and bust out the pewter statues of the dragon and/or wizard, clutching a crystal ball, and DM a campaign with 20-sided die. Yes, I am a dork. And The Sword is my anthem.

I am also listening to alot of Mercyful Fate recently.

And do me a personal favor and check out Absent Element...yes I am a reality TV whore, as well...was obsessed with American Idol until my favorite contestant, Chris Daughtry was voted off. This is his band, show them some support. For my dollar, the guy's got an amazing voice, and the band ain't half bad either.

Anyway, my wedding anniversary is this weekend, I'm off to see Ministry at the House of Blues at the House of the Mouse this Tues. See you all soon.
