What are you playing now?

I'm playing some Battlefront and Final Fantasy XI, which I'm quitting...and selling my account. I hope that works, cause it'd be great to actually get cash for playing a game!

 

I have been playing Fable and Battlefront and am enjoying them both. I can't get enough of these games.

 

The Dark Forces mod for Jedi Academy (which I worked on and finally got tonight!)

Armed & Dangerous. This is like Giants: Citizen Kabuto, but with the tedius base building removed. Brilliant game. And hilarious!

 

Right now I'm playing a lot of different games. But I'm mostly playing The Wind Waker for the time being.

 

I just beat Jak 3. Excellent game. It can be frustrating though. And I wouldn't recommend playing it if you haven't played Jak II. But if you liked Jak II you will want this game. It everything it had and more. Think Jak II crossed with Mad Max.

 

MK Deception I found was really good, and I can never get enough MechAssault Live.

Mix in some battlefront and a Lan Party of Halo every weekend and you've got a keeper.

 

Runaway: A Road Adventure.

It's OK, but a little tedious in that it wont let you do things that are obvious until your character is ready to do them. I can see it's gonna get pretty frustrating pretty quickly - but it is *beautiful* to look at.

I also bought Mafia for NZ$10 today, so look forward to finally giving that a spin.

 

I'm finding that I get games, play them for a few hours, and get bored. There's nothing new nowadays.

I find that I spend more time doing tutorials on HTML/CGI/JAVA/Et all. It's more invigorating to code something and see it work than loading up Battlefront and shooting a bunch of people.

Lately I've been feeling nostagic and firing up games like Super Mario Brothers or Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Button mashing when you have to have absolute timing is quite a challenge to these old bones.

 

Obi-Wan seems to be taking up quite alot of my time these days..the slo-mo Force power is the coolest thing I've seen in a non-JK game. I've already beaten the game in the month since I've owned it, and want to go again.

Fable I'm playing alot as well...great game.

I was playing GTA: San Andreas but my bro took his PS2 back, so I might see if I can steal/borrow my stepbros(since hes grounded). I am alos strongly considering buying MGS3: Snake Eater. I played Halo 2 at my friends but wasn't that impressed with it.

 

I am now eating snakes, fish, bats and rabits. Snake Eater is awesome.

 

Half Life 2, Secret of Mana and the Longest Journey.
All of which are the most splendid and polished of games I've played to date.

 

As of right now, I'm not playing any game that is going to require dedication. I want to keep my gaming "slate" open for December '04, when KOTOR 2 comes out. I am trying to finish Metroid Prime still. Can you believe that? What heresy!

Also, I've beaten Halo 2 on both Easy & Normal, but will be trying to beat it on Heroic & Legendary. But, it's not imperative to beat it before KOTOR 2. My main goal with Halo 2 is have our 1st LAN get-together for it. The 8-10 folks we gather have had trouble hammering out a sched thus far, but we're trying.

I'm also playing my franchise in ESPN NHL 2K5.

I've been alternating between NCAA Football and Madden. I need a new SW game. I haven't bought one for a while. I wish they make certain games for all platforms.

 

The last game i bought was X-men legends. I've a;ready beaten it, but now i'm playing it over again

I justed can't seem to focus on one game at the moment for some reason. Doesn't help that I have to work so much I don't have the playing time I use to, and even when I do my wife is working on Paper Mario 2.
