In addition to The Scarlet Letter (which is probably the best book they've made me read in prison), I'm reading El Principito, The Little Prince, except in Spanish. [face_plain] I don't know if I'm reading it wrong, or it's just an odd story...

No, it's definitely an odd story, SB. I was fortunate enough to read Le Petit Prince in some remedial French class back in the day.

Scarlet Letter, good read. One of Hawthorne's better tales. Wouldn't necessarily recommend the Demi Moore screen adaptation though.

If you like his style, I'd also recommend House of Seven Gables and The Marble Faun.

Any Ideas when the NJO -ends?- or is it going to go on forever? ;)

Well, the NJO just officially "ended" with Unifying Force. So, who knows wha's next?

Well, for the most part, I enjoyed the final two NJO novels - Final Prophecy & Unifying Force. That having been said, the enjoyment was relative to much disappointment previously experienced while reading the NJO. Overall, I thought the ending was decent, considering that there were many plot holes that needed to be filled and many loose strings to be tied. Too much discontinuity throughout the whole series though, unfortunately. But, I guess that's to be expected, given the disjunct nature in which the "collaboration" amongst authors occurred.
