Tales of the Bounty Hunters. The first one so far about IG-88 was kinda neat. Just finished the Han Solo trilogy by Crispin. I enjoyed those books quite a bit. Nice backstory to our favorite scruffy scoundrel. I think these stories would make good television, similar to George's Young Indy Jones adventures.

Haven't opened Tattooine Ghost yet, is it any good?

    Refuge :D

EDIT: Or not :( Mom said she had picked up the book I had been talking about yesterday, but she had actually gotten Remnant :( And when I went back to Media PLay, they said it was pushed back to the 6th :( :_|

Well, I'm trying to read about 4 at once. Not very successful. ;)

    To Kill a Mockingbird (school)
    Joy Luck Club (school)
Book 9 of the Wheel of Time series
    Destiny's Way

I've been on chapter two of Destiny's Way forever, and there really doesn't seem to be a point of going on. Would anyone be nice enough to post or pm a rough summary of what happens so I won't have to trudge through the rest of it? :) It just seems really boring compared to some of the other books. Then again, maybe I'm going insane! :D

You're not alone on the DW thing. Personally, I wish that book had never happened  I HATE DW!!!

My suggestion: get the audiobook version.

And I love "To Kill a Mockingbird"!!!! One of my favorite books and movies. [face_love]

I don't own a copy of DW, or else I'd have a great deal of fun making a mocking summary for you, SB. ;) Hm, maybe I could see if the library copy is readily available... (I read it long enough ago that I think I'd forget major plot points without a reference.)

Zoo - Is Refuge coming out already?? For some reason I thought it wasn't till June or July or something...

It's out, we picked it up last night. We made a complaint to the book store, they didn't have it on display, again. She said they get so many it's hard to get them all out, bull!!!
They have release dates for a reason, you get more people to work on those days, come in early or stay late on Monday.

Too many books, :_| Big baby!

hmmm... i'm reading "Carbon War" by Jeremy Leggett, which is about his experiences over the past twenty years or so with the oil/gas industry and the rising international concerns of global warming... a surprisingly interesting read.

Just finished Tales of the Bounty Hunters, and now I'm half way through Shadows of the Empire. It's fairly interesting so far, although I don't agree with a lot of Vader's characterization. Must be a Sith thing...

Star Wars Porn!!!! THat book has the most elicit scenes in all of the SW Literature.

I just realized that other day that I had not read Fried Green Tomoatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe in almost a year, sooooooo. I started it yesterday, plus I'm finishing up Wraith Squadron :D

There's a SW porn book? [face_shocked] Like, published? Fanfic, sure, but... a real book?[face_shocked]

I reread a number of the Wraith Squadron books while I was sick last week, reminding me of some fun quotes for my sig. I also finally picked up Starfighters of Adumar, finishing out the X-Wing series. I'd heard it was odd, but hey, I figured it had two things going for it: Aaron Allston and Wes Janson. How can you go wrong with those two? ;) Overall, pretty good... though I am scarred by some of the mental images. Rogues in woman's clothing... *twitch*

More recently, I picked up Deryni Tales, a book of short stories set in Katharine Kurtz's Deryni world. It's worth noting that these are actually fanfiction stories, acknowledged as such and encouraged by Kurtz. There was also one short story by Katherine at the end, serving as a teaser for her next trilogy.

Hmm...currently reading "Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos"...it's a story collection from H.P. Lovecraft and other Mythos writers.

I didn't know there was a SW porn...LOL. If you ever get the chance, and want to fill your head with bad visions and end up feeling icky enough to have to take a shower afterwards, you can try to find Starball Z -- it's a sort of really messed up SW/Dragonball Z hentai crossover with quite possibly the WORST animation and drawings I've ever seen.

And if you can make it thru the show, you can see why George Lucas took the company that made it and sued them into the Dark Ages. :D

Shadows of the Empire has some scenes in it that are as close to the Blue LIght district as they could get w/o "actually" stepping over the line... Though I would not let my niece and nephew read that one yet (at least until they 13)

Re-Reading Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe (for the umpteenth time)

The Genocidal Mentality: Nazi Holocaust and Nuclear Threat (a little light reading ;) )
