I've just started reading Elminster by Ed Greenwood. It is one of the Forgotten realms books and, being a passionate Dungeons & Dragons player, I love to read those. It is old-school fantasy, brilliant so far.

My current literature is Latin version of first Harry Potter.
    Harrius Potter et Philosophi Lapis

Quite interesting to read it on Latin. Though it is painfuly obvious how many grammar mistakes did J.K.Rowling made in the names of spells. :p

You are from Croatia, right? Where did you find it? I didn't think bookstores here would have it...

I bought it in Algoritam in Zagreb.

If you're interested, try to order it over A bookshops.

Anyways, this is how the book starts:

    Caput Primum

    Great!

If I remember correctly, second chapter is The Vanishing Glass...
That would be... Vitrum Evanescens, right?

Yup. I just finished II. grade of Highschool of naturale sciences and mathematics (yes, that exists). We also learn Latin there. I was on a county competition from Latin this year. Though it is dead, it is an amazing language. I love it.

That would be PMG I assume. Eek! Math always gave me creeps! As all of more scientific subjects. I almost fell 3rd grade in high school due to physics, but I did manage somehow.

So, you were on a Latin competition. Pretty cool. I also went on one when I was in 2nd grade of high school. After that, I decided to study it one day. :)

I'm not really familliar with the Expanded Universe, though I would like to be becouse it sounds very interesting. But it is hard to find all of the EU books here in Croatia. If you really want something, than you order it from Algoritam chain of bookstores, but hey, you can't order the entire series of books... And there are very few of them in library. :(

Can anyone tell me which is the first book in the NewJediOrder series?

First book is Vector Prime by Salvatore

But be carefull darthana, this series has 19 books, maybe it would be better to start from another series?

I haven't read all of them, but my favourite so far is School of fear. At least I think it was called like that. it has been awhile since I read them.

As I've heard, Jedi Apprentice is about young Obi-Wan.
I don't realy like him, so I'll stick with Jedi Quest.

Amon do you know how many books are there?
One more thing. I always forget how to call you, for short: Amon or Amarth?
Which did you say you prefer?

It's all the same to me. I prefer Amarth becouse it means doom on Elvish, but almost everyone here knows me as Amon. Really, I don't pay much attention to it.

I'm not exactly sure how many books are there. I think there are 9, however.
