What about Star Wars comics? Does anyone here read them?

I got me 2.3 GB's of SW comics. :) Read most of 'em. I'm currently reading the Republic series. I'm a bit disappointed in some of them. [face_plain] However, Star Wars Tales are probably the best, although they don't belong in the timeline (most of them, I think). :)

So, you downloaded comics from the net?
I always wanted to do that, but I never found the page... Where did you downloaded from?

I didn't download them. A friend of mine did that. I just went to him with hard disk and copied everthing. :D You can find most of them via P2P networks. :)

Sorry, I'm a total beginner with the computers, but what is P2P?

p2p -> peer-to-peer, those are programs and networks in one like kazaa, DirectConnect, eMule, BitTorrent etc.

i've read those comic books, which were translated into polish, but still... I like books much more.

Books are better than anything. Even better than films. I say that becouse you can imagine everything from the books in your own, special way. You can also see the feelings and inter thoughts of characters, which you can't see in the movie.
Comics are very good, but they can't stand up to the books in my opinion.
I would realy like to read a few Star Wars comics, cause I don't read Star wars stuff very often and I'm very interested about it.

True, books are brilliant, it makes us readers true 'directors' of the plot, we don't have already cannonided course of events, we can use our own imagination.

Books are outstanding. I can't imagine my life without them.
I just learned for my next exam, so my current reading would be Advanced theory of polynomes and their graphs, or whatever it would be in translation.
As light reading I took The approacing storm, a prequel for Attack of the Clones. It's nothing special, so far.

I haven't read this book so far. You'll borrow it to me as soon as you read it.

If you like the CW era, Shatterpoint is a good SW book. Republic Commando: Had Contact si also good. ;)

The League Of Spies is also a nice read. :D

The approaching storm is really boring, I agree. I expected it to be more fun, but I really disappointed me.

That's what I hate about SW sometimes. Every time someone mentions some little event (in this case "a border dispute on Ansion" in AOTC) they make someone to write a book... and it usualy turns out bad. :(

    True, I've noticed that, too.
All though, they mentioned Cato Nemodia in ROTS and Labyrinth of evil is a pretty good book.
