Im watching the classic Sylvester Stallone Cliffhange rmovie on some HDMovies channel. Earlier on the channel was the old Terminator movie

 

Interesting thing in this episode, the Enterprise is trapped, it cannot leave orbit. Kirk actually mentions dropping the nacelles and getting away in the main ship. I wonder then if this is the line that gave the idea to the Next Generation showrunners.
