I love the last 2-3 years of Shaw Brothers movies; so darn crazy and sometimes very funny.

This fight from The Lady is Boss (1983) is a loopy wink to the amazing choreography Lau Kar Leung perfected at Shaws (he's Instructor Wong here).

Because...the trailer and subsequent "kill count" fan made clip makes me love Have Sword Will Travel even more:

[face_laugh] = Chang Cheh was NEVER subtle in his early wuxias / republic era movies with Ti and David.

Lots of blood (red paint) and Chiang just mowing down every last stuntman he can.

and the trailer which also makes me [face_laugh] (because of the verbage...old Shaws trailers were full of these).

The Simpsons episode where Homer joins the Naval Reserve. Before that it was the Stonecutters episode.

Dropped by an episode of Arrow and noticed that Oliver Queen is the mayor when he's not Green Arrow. Is he the only superhero to hold public office as his alter ego? Certainly the only one employed in local governance, I would guess.

I'm only six episodes in, but I've really enjoyed it so far. I haven't read the books, so I'm sure there is a lot that I'm missing too.

side note: The art/photography/effects crews deserve massive props for their work. The show is astonishingly good looking by any TV standard, much less for a production by a B-tier basic cable network.

I don't think it's a matter of missing something. The show is not dedicated to book accuracy.

The Shallows. Jaws 2 is one channel away, but since I've seen that 200 times and this only once I'll stay.

What's interesting here is the Siskel and Ebert review trashing this. I love Krull.

Yeah, they were fun. Ebert was a bit more open minded, but they made film reviews interesting.

Chen Ping does Pam Grier's Coffy (a little violent and slightly racy); from The Sexy Killer. I could happily watch Sun Chung/Chen Ping films all day (they made three great movies together.)

Catching up on Star Wars Rebels...seems to be getting good with the resolution of the Maul plot and this season finale.
