Been going through a few videos from the Youtube Channel of Oliver Harper. Right now watching again His Top 10 Favourite Superhero Scores

There is an interesting point to be made about superhero scores or scores in general. Whether the film is good or bad if it does one element well then there's no shame in highlighting it and nowadays and maybe I might be wrong but it seems like people don't think about music when going into a film because most of the scores are done by the same composers and nothing stands out much. But there are alternatives out there though that people should look into and I know I would definitely like to know more about music in films. Also I'm glad he made it more personal and used the term "My" rather than "Best" because to me personally unless you do look at it objectively from that point of view then yeah that term makes sense but if you say "Best" or "Worst" in a general sense and just have it be your own opinion and sort of bias and not trying to account for everything then that doesn't work for me personally. That's why I never really do many things by the "Best" and "Worst" term and just strictly have it as "My Favourite" or "My Least Favourite" because it is hard to make that separation and I'm glad Oliver here does that too (Check his videos out if you haven't they're actually pretty good)



Now watching His Top 10 Favourite Theatrical Teasers/Trailers.

Again another point is to be made about teasers/trailers. We do rely on them now and it's interesting that even if the film sucked at least you can say the teaser or trailer was good or got you sucked in. Again I'm sure you have your own examples and I have mine and this video is an interesting look into a few especially since I hadn't seen some of them before.
