I just finished watching 10,000 BC. It was a train wreck that I couldn't keep my eyes off of. I don't think there was a single original idea in the whole movie. Really pathetic... in my opinion.

 

That was freakin cool!

 

So when you saw the previews for this, you actually thought...Hmm, this looks good

 

Visually it looked great, especially in HD! But as a film, meh, I find cleaning King Ryan's litter box to be more entertaining than that movie was!

I'm watching movies from netflix at the moment cos most of what's on TV sucks right now or it is re-runs. The only things on TV we have watched are Andrew Zimmerman and No Reservations on the Travel Channel and Entourage on HBO.

 

Andrew Zimmern is an entirely...bizarre...man. Very entertaining.

I've gotten disenchanted with TV. The only show I watch consistently is NCIS. The last movie I saw in the theater was 'Marley and Me'. Good story, but it felt too short. And of course everyone knows how I feel about YouTube.

My nephew watched 'Aladdin' for the first time last night and loved it. It's an old family favorite. We saw it a bunch if times in the theater and even bought the 'sing-along song' tape when it came out (anyone remember those?). We ended up memorizing all the words to 'Freind Like Me' and singing it in the theater the next time we saw it! Everyone looked at us like we were nuts.

Personally, I always liked the Street Rat song...

 

I bought the soundtrack on cassette...and that was before they changed the words in the opening song because some group got offended about the "cut off your ear if they don't like your face" line. Lame.

 

I remember that line! Oh, the memories...
