JCC What are your favorite hot dog toppings?

Mostly just mustard. Occasionally kraut or sweet relish.

 

The only thing i put on mine is ketchup. Or catsup as the resturants would say.

 

So Eeth makes a thread about hot dogs and nobody mentions mayonnaise? You guys are slipping.

Always ketchup. Sometimes I also have mustard and onions, sometimes not.

 

Greek sauce, chili, diced onion and mustard.

I did that too. I wanted to make the obvious parody thread but I gave up when I couldn't find a picture of a Dachshund taking a dump.

We can join the very small club together. I pretty much hate ketchup. Not even on fries for me. I'll eat them plain, with some mustard, or with mayo. But ketchup is so sweet and gross.

I agree. Ketchup has very few uses outside of using it as a base to make your own bbq sauce.

Ketchup and mustard, but only ballpark farnks are really any good.

Ketchup is still my go to topping for burgers, hot dogs, sausages, etc. but in the last year or so I've started developing a taste for mustard. Just the yellow mustard, not the kind that has horseradish in it. I mainly made the switch as mustard is better for you than ketchup, for while I like the taste of mustard, I way prefer the taste of ketchup. Call me an uncultured heathen if you will, but I love me some salty sugary tomato product.

However, I recently moved to Seattle and discovered the "Seattle style" hotdog with sauteed onions and cream cheese. This is far superior to both mustard and ketchup.

 

It is quite delish. I will make you taste my hot dog one of these days Harps
