San Diego, CA What Are Your Favorite Lines From AOTC?

I already have many favorite lines from AOTC.

- (Mace Windu) This party is over!

- (Obi-Wan) Why do I get the feeling you are going to be the death of me Anakin?

- (Threpio) What a drag. AND I'm beside myself. (They stole the "What a drag" line from the fan film "The Dark Redemption" if you ask me!)

- Begun the Clone War has (Yoda)

That's exactly what I was thinking too.

I also really like all of Yoda's lines right before he fights Dooku. In that scene he reminded me of one Jet Li movie I saw...

 

Anakin: We came here to rescue you.

Obi-Wan: Godd job.

I also loved Baby Fett's gleefull laughter when Jango says "We won't be seing him again".

 

I feel the best one was:

"You want to go home and re-think your life."

Obi got all the good lines in the movie!

 

LoL! Those were really good too!

There were a lot of funny lines in this movie.

 

OUTLANDER NIGHTCLUB

Anakin: Master are those thongs i see right there??

Obi Wan: Yes Anakin, only for a real Jedi Knight, now settle down while I go get a drink!!!!

Anakin: But Master!

Obi Wan: Settle down young Virgin Jedi, your not as skilled in the arts of macking as I am, now watch a true Jedi in Action!!!!

Anakin: Yes Master!!

 

worst lines:
whatever Dooku says about well, since we can't resolve things by our knowledge of the force, we will have to solve things with the skill of the lightsaber...

most of anakin's romantic whining (fireside scene) it reminds me of bad teenaged love poetry.. cliched

putting anakin's nightmare right after that scene... uhh... ohhh..... mommm.....
what type of dream is he having? something oedipal here? hehe

 

I don't think this qualifies as a favorite line...but we totally dug the part where Ani and Padme kiss for the first time...the music swells beautifully and kinda gets you going...then Padme stops! The music abruptly stops as well-- Ani has a confused look. Very funny and the 12:05 audience got a great kick out of it!

 

Best line ever!

"I don't like sand. It's course...and rough and irritating...and it gets everywhere. Not like you. You're everything soft and smooth..."

I also like "Lost a planet Obi-Wan has. How embarrassing. How embarrassing."

 

How can I forget this brilliant line???

When Jango says "I'm a simple man trying to make my way in his universe", I thought that the quote summed up his whole character, short but percise!!!

 

I love the "simple man" line that Jango says also, but I was thinking that nothing about Jango is "simple." He is a very interesting and complicated character. I wish we could have learned more about his history, but I suppose that will be dealt with in the books and comics.

 

When Nute Gunray says " She cant do that! Somebody shoot her...or something!" It reminds me of the humor back in ANH and the OT alot.

 

Anakin: Where are you going?

Obi-Wan: To get a drink.

 

I also like:

"Always a pleasure to meet a jedi" Jango's delivery made a pleasantry sound like a threat.

"It may be difficult to secure your release" I love the sarcasm, or insicerity in that line..It brings to mind Palpatine in episode VI "Oh, I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational..." Christopher Lee is great in this movie. I feel he stole the flick.
