We need to vote on what Beach we go to on the 7th or 8th of January

When you cast your vote reply with what Date would suit you 7th or 8th.

Glenelg is a great place to go to but Semaphore has my vote.

It has parking and a deli for snacking

Ahh yes, but Glenelg has a number of watering holes, beach volleyball, and more food outlets than you can poke an Alf at!

Plus it has major shark patrols. Haven't heard of anyone being attacked in Glenelg's waters, have you? [face_thinking]

actually, a Marine Biologist (I think) was taken by a shark off the waters at Glenelg last summer.

Not that bad, more chance getting hit by a car than getting attacked.
In the past 50yrs 60 people have been taken so about 1.2 a year.
Just kinda sucks if you happen to be the 1. or the .2 :p

I'm afraid my heart goes to Glenelg, it's a cute little tram ride there and I love it more everytime I go there. I love Moana as well, and Grange is easy enough to get to, but Sempaphore is a bit far and at least Glenelg is a happy middle between north and south.

then i think semaphore would be a good choice as it has that little channel set back a little bit from the shore line so the littler kids can swim without going too far out!!

.......and for some reason my girls dont like waves!!!
