I've actually read the latest books. But I've gone straight back to the classics from Timothy Zahn and Kevin J. Anderson, I just hate NJO and Salvador and Denning should die horrible deaths.

In my opinion Anakin Solo never died, and I'm choosing to ignore SBS, and did you hear that they're letting Denning write another trilogy for the EU set post NJO? AHHHRGH!

 

Must be a south australian thing...I wish Jacen died too ....KFC is not the path to mega Force power.

Denning wasn't that bad surely.

 

Oh yes Denning was, I loath SBS, he killed Anakin Solo I agree I don't like Jacen, he should have gone in Anakin's place.

Good first up choice. If you liked Corran, check out the X-Wing books also by Mike Stackpole.

 

Personally, I would have recommended that you start with the X-Wing books, and then read I,Jedi.
But that's just me. And I am a big fan of the x-wing series, so maybe I'm a little biased.
