I just thought I'd add that a couple of the books I've been able to scrumba have come from me not returning them to the library near were I used to live. I used to bum around there, but after most of my favorites got lost or stolen, I took it upon myself to rescue them, and paid the fee for losing them. The hard-cover COPL one is my favorite, you just can't find it it bookstores anymore and the paperback cover is so awful.

It's horrible of me, but anything to preserve the classics. Rock on original EU novels! NJO will never, ever, replace you guys.

I really couldnt say that any one particular novel was the much better than the rest.
I did enjoy DM - shadow hunter though.

Medstar one was readable but didn't really go far enough. Needed more direction.

hee hee, I wish I could write this on a report card.
"he has the attention span of a bee in a dandelion field".

    I love that.
I suffer from that at the moment also. Must be the time of year.

I only seem to be able to read two pages at a time at the moment, and I'm pretty sure that if you asked me what they were about, I could only say 'some pilots, a planet and an evil woman'.

    :D

ive got books stacked up to the ceiling that require some attention..........but they arent getting any - i seem to have gotten obsessed with making banners

for some reason, i've always found Splinter of the Minds Eye gets me the most involved....

and ANY of the books by Stackpole or Zhan are recomended...

i havent gotten to the Williams/Dix books yet, but i've read their non-SW stuff.....the Evergence trilogy is MOST HIGHLY recomended....so the SW should read well

just looked at the book pile again.....they are working on the cloning thing now.......just found i have TWO copies of the Force Heretic III - Reunion book........

    save... me

I can safely assure you Evil that I've read every EU novel in existence and I only deem crapy COPL as a classic 'cause it came out in '94. I don't like it, but like I said I love the Hardback cover, beautiful, beautiful artwork. JA trilogy is a classic, and so's TZ's HttE trilogy.

Well, since I am 2nd Gen, it's a bit hard to get a hold of some. But I have read all the original Marvel comic adventures, my father has them all. My favorite is the original novel Splinter of the Mind's eye though, I've got the comic and book, but the novel's the best. :D I'm such a nerd. :-B
