I'm re-reading Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets...

 

Lord Foul's Bane, by Stephen Donaldson, as well as Neil Gaiman's first Sandman collection Preludes and Nocturnes. Both are wonderful examples of complex, mature fantasy that still manage to be quite accessible.

How was that? i am thinking about reading it after Eldest. I read Inkheart and enjoyed it. Smae author, right?

 

Am currently reading War And Peace, it's rather good so far.

 

The last book I read was The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, but that was probably two months ago, at least. So theoretically I am still reading the Hitchhiker's Trilogy.

Yes, same author.
I loved it. It was a very quick read because it kept me interested.
There is a point in the book where it switched from being realistic to fantasy which was a little strange, but I still loved it.
They are currently making a movie of it.

I read Dragon Rider but not Inkheart or Inkblood yet.

Before I started college (last week) I read "To Kill a Mockingbird" which was brilliant. Harper Lee is a genius.

With the chaos of the first week of college, I haven't been reading much besides class books. I plan to start "On the Road" when things settle down.

No, I duplicated it (albeit unintentionally b/c I didn't know the Amph. one existed)) earlier in the year... or it might've late last year. I can't remember which.

Anyway, right now I'm reading Ken Kesey's first book, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, for my Mod. American Authors class.

also i dont really post in there, and i had no idea there was this thread in there, but i gave it the same title.

 

The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe.

It's about Ken Kesey's acid tests and the buses and hippies and Hell's Angels and Jerry Garcia and EVERYTHING.

I find it to be very enjoyable so far. "Who the hell is ever from Oregon?" After that I plan on picking up One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest, and then Sometimes A Great Notion because I'm getting into Kesey now.
