Camouflage by Joe Haldeman. Basically from a world that orbits in a cluster of stars two aliens have come to earth and have been here for eons. They are immortal from adapation in their hostile home environment and are capable of inducing super fast mutations in their bodies allowing them to change form into virtually anything. Think John Carpenter's The Thing. In 1931 one of them comes ashore in human form. In 2019 a spacecraft is found in a deep trench. The book goes back and forth in telling the events of the two time periods.

The Agony and the Ecstasy: A Biographical Novel of Michelangelo by Irving Stone

    and

    The Game by Laurie King

Both rereads, actually. I can't afford to buy new books right now, and my library cards are nowhere to be found.

    ^ Good choice

I'm reading the Transall Saga by Gary Paulsen. A very good book even if the ending isn't satisfying.

Ahhh, working on your FLMI designation! I have several LOMA designations. The classes aren't too bad until you get to the actuarial stuff.
