What color do you think each episode is?

Hey everyone. I'm Darth-Martinez.

I was wondering what everyone thinks each episode's color is?


I mean like this. This is what I think.

The Phantom Menace
Red because of Darth Maul's lightsaber and his body.

Attack Of The Clone
White because of the clone troopers and green because of Yoda's lightsaber.

A New Hope
Blue because of Obi-Wan's lightsaber and Anakin's old lightsaber.

The Empire Strikes Back[/u]
White because of the snow on Hoth and the clouds in Cloud City and brown because of Dagobah and the swamp.

Return of the Jedi
Black because of Darth Vader and the Emperor and green because of Endor.



See what I mean? What do you think are the colors of each episode?

In response to your thread, this is a very cool topic! I've always viewed the films as these colors..

TPM- Light Blue. Naboo was introduced here, and the beautiful blue skies and lakes are what I remember most from the planet. I also think "blue" because it's calm and peaceful- somewhat like the galaxy was at the time, even on the brim of something terrible happening, such as the Trade Federation dispute and the return of the Sith.

AoTC- Red. The rocky deserts of Geonosis, the color of the newly tinted battle droids, and the signals of the Separatists. I also think "red" because of the war beginning, as well as the the fact of the Separatists and their droids breaking away from the Republic, creating a crisis and sparking the Clone Wars.

ANH- Orange. The color of the Rebels flight suits always stuck to me here, and I think that the colors also fits somewhat to the state of the galaxy at that point, for some reason.

ESB- Dark Blue. I associate this color with ESB for a number of reasons. First of all, the Battle of Hoth reminds of a dark bluish setting, because of its cold environment. I also think of the giant AT-AT's, and Luke's encounter with the Wampa. Han Solo being frozen in carbonite and the fight between Luke and Vader on Cloud City furthers this. Also, the idea of the Empire striking a victory against the Rebel Alliance is to me like "dark blue" because it seems the Imperials are finally putting to rest the Rebels, especially with their defeat at Hoth, Luke Skywalker's defeat at Cloud City, and Han Solo being left in Carbonite. I also think "black" because of Darth Vader and the Empire's signiture color.

RoTJ- Green. I can't even explain the first time I saw Luke's new lightsaber, and the luminescent green blade cutting through Jabba's henchmen and fighting Vader is one of my favorite parts of the movie. Also, the Death Star II's superlaser beam is green, and that reminds me as well. I also think green signals the new future that is imminent for the Rebels, now that the Empire had been defeated.

TPM-White and blue Because They seem like pure colors for some reason which reflects Anakin
AOTC-Blue and Red The conflict building in Anakin. Blue for his saber red for his as Vader
E3-Black and Red Because of his fall
ANH-Black and White A light that emerged in the darkness. A new hope
ESB-Black Because Luke finds out Vader's identity and The Empire wins in the movie so darkness reigns
ROTJ-White and Blue The galaxy (not including EU) gets restored to it's purity.

TPM - Yellow. You've got the N1 starfighters, 00M-9. It just seems kinda right.
AOTC - Orange. Though I was tempted to say purple due to Mace...
I don't know yet about Episode 3. I'll think about it once it comes out. If I still remember about this!
ANH - Blue. Like others have said, the two good guys' sabers are this colour (almost )
ESB - Red. Vader, evil winning, etc.
ROTJ - Green. Luke's saber, Death Star ray, Endor, Jabba!
