Amph What comics did you pick up this week?

537 and 10 certainly don't (half of 536 was after CW6 anyway.)

My LCS got 11 copies of CW6 from their order of 100

Edit: now that I think about it, FL #10 does a little bit in that you see what is obviously about to occur on the last page of CW6 in progress. But I wouldn't call it a surprise or anything.

 

That's good. I was just worried because there was an issue of Thunderbolts that came out on the same day as Civil War #2 that spoiled the Spidey unmasking on the first page. Luckily I read CW#2 first that day.

Ultimate Power has madee me realize one thing, I hate Greg Lands art with a passion.

 

This week was kind of light, but I've checked the schedules, and this month looks to be rock-solid for releases. So, what I got for today was:

Superman Confidential- 3 (And if anyone's a fan of this series, hopefully it's agreed that Superman's scene in the Arctic practically made the issue, along with Lex's reaction to his charity performance being interrupted.)

Fantastic Four: The End- 4 of 6 (Hurray for an appearance from Annihilus!)

Savage Dragon Archives Vol. 1- It's kind of like an Essentials or Showcase collection, featuring the first 24 and a half issues of "Savage Dragon". I own most of these in individual issues, but I do so love the series. And I'm making sure to support the collection for an eventual volume two!

I bought the first five issues of origins. It's not a bad series, but their are other books out their that i'm more interested in. Perhaps i'll pick it up later. The thing that kills me is that i buy too many mini series.

 

The past few weeks, when I've wanted to post in here, I've gotten so many that I've forgotten what the numbers and all that were exactly and have already put them up in their boxes. But this week was a slow week. So I remember everything.

A couple of Marvel essentials,that's all.
I am pretty much fed up with the mess the Civil War has become,and I see nothing compelling from DC this week.

 

Oh, I'll be picking up the JSA issues 1 & 2 this week. I really wasn't that interested in them until I was spoiled a bit. Now I'm going to start picking it up.

I went into yesterday saying I wouldn't buy any comics. But saying and doing are two different things, and my actions spoke differently. Heh! So, after a visit to a VERY local comic store...

FF was good this week, i'm with lando, i finaly except reeds reasons. CDP 36 was funny as usual. Sonja was a little odd but still very cool. I was also happy with spidey this week.
