What Costume are you currently/or did working on?

Tell me about your costumes....

 

I'm sewing ignorant at this point, so I have someone working on the Padme Blue Tatooine dress.

....just today I was working on parts for an EP I Amidala, and EP II Amidala, A Jango Fett, a Jedi and I was thinking about a few other projects between those......

Right now I am working on 8 different costumes with several others pending....

 

A Jedi is my only SW costume I'm working on right now, but I've got 4 non-SW costumes that I am also making (and need to be finished in 3 weeks *stressing out*).

 

very nice....i'm trying to get some ideas for my Jedi outfit and other costumes I might make.

 

At the moment I'm not doing anything, but in a weeks time, *for the release of EP II I am doing Leia episode 4 Celebration dress. Me and my mum are going to tackle this together. We'll get it done in no time! (like a weekend)

Hmmmm... at moment, I'm have in the works:

- a redo of my Amidala Pre-Senate kimono
- a secret project. Muahahahahaha! (It's not SW, though.)
- a couple of royal guards (VERY early stages here)
- an imperial officer's hat, at least, and maybe the whole costume, if I get a wild hair. (I DID go ahead and buy the fabric, so things are looking likelier all the time... )
-2 Carnival dresses for next years Mardi Gras. (I know, I'm a "way too far in advance" sicko...)

And I'm waiting for the visual dictionary for Ep. II, and for the film to come out, before I start adding costumes from THAT to my list...

I'm planning on taking my rather basic Jedi costume and outfitting it with

JEDI ARMOUR!!!

Any thoughts?

 

Jedi armour would be great. I would follow Darth Vader's example. His is designed to take a blow from a lightsabre so I would like to his armour to see how thick you could make it. I would mostly worry abouut the upper torso and neck, and maybe add some cool shoulder bells and forearm gauntlets.

 

I'm currently trying my luck on the Padme battle outfit. Haven't got much done yet though...

I start costumes..but then i kinda dont finish them 100%...My Jedi costume still needs pants, and i want to re-do the tabbords one day....Plus i still need the belt & boots and all those goodies...

My Padme Mos Espa costume needs shoes...(I looked at the EP1 visual dictionary in B&N this morning.. they are simple walking shoes.. so old sneakers i think will do fine)I also need to attack the arm wraps to the costume...

And im currently working on Barris Offee's costume.....Im going to finish the skirt today and work on the robe next weekend...

Then i have to RUSH and finish my Padmé costume....because the following weekend is a Sci-Fi convention that im going to...

 

I wanted to do cermonial Leia and Padme' AOTC Battle outfit....but due to money constraints and no talent at sewing ;( .
I am just doing( actually almost done I only have to make the pouches for the belt) the battle outfit....at least Trisha made something in EP2 that was semi-simple to make for us no-sewing-talent people..........

 

Right now I'm working on finishing up my pre-senate handmaiden costume, I've finished accumulating materials for the handmaiden flame gown, so that's next, and I've bought my patterns and just sent out for some fabric swatches for the Padme gold flower gown.

 

I will be finishing Leia's Ceremonial gown from ANH this weekend! Then all my costumes for Celebratio will be finished. Once AOTC comes out, then will probably start one of them. Am thinking about trying Jango.

I'm working on the Bespin Leia costume right now. Then once that one is finished, I'll move onto Slave Leia. Does anyone know where I can buy Sintra at? someone said it's best used for this costume. My dad was going to actually make it out of metal.

 

Today........I am working on 2 Senator Amidala headpieces....Jango Fett head piece....adding a structural yoke to the Anakin Jedi cloak.....a new Leia ANH belt in leather...altering the Queen Amidala black feathered costume....altering the Queen Amidala Senate gown headpiece....finishing a Dark Jedi belt...starting to make plans to make a Leia ANH ceremonial gown....and hemming Quincy's Girl Scout uniform pants.....that is what is lying on my sewing table today (for this week). I have to start my work week at my regular job today, so I will see how much of that actually gets done this week.
