I just sulked and was pretty much depressed, Imp_Recruiter and LovelyLotus couldnt make it since she was feeling very bad. So I didn't go (they offered me to split their room)but her health is far more important that C2. I noticed her not posting so I hope she is ok. I did break down and saw Spiderman, very very good.

I got into the McCallum Spectacular, which was well worth the wait. Other than that, it was waaayy too crowded and disorganized to do much of anything. I was greatly disappointed.

Did anyone else get the chance to see the R2-D2 round-up? I thought it was really cool how these guys put their artoos together.

Some of the guys were using Rollerblade wheels for artoo, remote control servo motors for head rotation, and a couple of them apparently had some basic hydraulics stuff they were working on for arm actuators to pop out of the different doors on Artoo's chest!

I got dirty looks from Lady Lucas's escorts when I asked her to pose for a picture without the robe she was wearing. My apologies to her if I offended her.

Well, you did not offend her (me neither, her fiance), we just had our share of weidos for the week-end ;)
I had to push away a few guys trying to touch her a little to much or trying to yank her chain... Just not too respectuous!

People actually tried to yank her chain?

Damn, I'd never met her before Staurday, and I would have been slugging poeple who tried to yank her chain. That is not cool. I admire your restraint, or are you posting from Indianapolis city jail? ;)

    Well, it almost happened!! :D
Aguy tried to touch her back when she was walking through the merchants booth, so I shoved both of my hand in his back and pushed him away, telling him to get the F@#$ out of her way. That is unfortunate, because 99% of people were really nice and gentle with her, and we loved posing for pictures for everybody.

    Lets organize this a little:

Lets do one day at a time.
Friday went straight to the store, got 4 sacul figs, shirts, hat, patches, pins, etc. Then stood in line for the opening ceremony, but by the time we got there they were handing out tickets for the show 2 sessions later. So we went to the vendor room wandered around there saw the Star Wars unleashed figurs, they look awesome, can't wait for those. We did our pictures in the action figure bubble, only waited like 7 minutes for that! Checked out a good bit of the vendor booths, picked up free stuff like posters and cards and things. Sat down to rest in the TCG section where Daniel Logan just happened to be doing a special game agains the guy that invented the game, got some shots of baby fett. Went to the hasbro museam. Stood in line for attack of the fetts, got good seats. Finally ran into quigon ludo and lady lucas and company. Finally got smart and got a locker. bought some overpriced pizza, i've had better frozen pizza!

Wow, I don't remember what all we did after that, up until the fanforce party, maybe i can coax drk-lady-of-the-sith to post and fill in the rest of friday.

What did everyone else do on friday?

Friday started off with a good time in the line-up outside. This was quickly followed by the acquisition of a locker, for all those things that would get too heavy to carry. Then there was the dash to the autograph section. Jerome Bulloch was really cool to talk to. I was David Prowse's first autograph of the day. He and his wife were delayed getting in but were very pleasant and excited. This was followed by a dash to the book giveaway where I got a few of the German translations. After this, it was back to the autograph section for Billy Dee Williams signature. He was friendly to most everyone, but it seemed to depend on the person. Then it was a trip to the lockers to drop off stuff.

On the way there, saw Lady_Lucas and crew coming through the doors and directed them to the autograph section to find Qui-Gon_Ludo. Things begin to get fuzzy from there, as the memory will need to be jogged a bit. The Fan Force party was awesome and that is when I finally saw padawan and drk-lady.

I'm sure there was more, but you know us Old Farts, we just forget sometimes. [face_laugh]

The lack of sleep has very much to do with the memory problems as well. Sleep is required for crystalization of memories. 3-5 hours of sleep a night over the weekend greatly reduces the retained memories. What a bad weekend to forget bits and pieces of.

No doubt! You know what my most predominate memory of Sunday is? All the people. The enormous crowds were impressive, a bit stifling, but impressive. That and getting home and wanting to just crawl into bed. [face_laugh]
