Since it got canned, here it is edited.
I really enjoyed X2...Marvel really knows how to make a comic book movie.
Introducing so many familiar characters, without getting side-tracked from the main plot, really took some work. And they did a great job staying true to the general fan's impression of the characters.
I really liked it. Action movies are often lacking in plot, so this movie really impressed me. I think they did a really good job making sure that those of us who don't follow the comics could understand the movie.
I really liked it. Some of the plot just seemed illogical and was confusing, but otherwise it was extremely entertaining and was really cool.
I didn't vote. I'm somewhere between awesome and eh.
The action scenes and special effects were great, but it was short on plot, just like the last one.
I loved this one better then the last!!! It may even be better then LOTR to me!!!
Just like I thought. It kicked major butt! Saw it twice this weekend and I'd be willing to see it again in the theater.
I also saw it twice.
It may even be better then LOTR to me!!!
[face_shocked] No way! FOTR completely rocked! TT is a different story...
I'm definatly up for seeing X2 again in theaters; it's just a matter of finding the time.
I don't know if I'd call X2 better then LOTR? It's definatly an improvment from X-Men...except for the dumb marketing ideas. If I hear the "zoom, zoom" kid one more time in the commercial for the car (seen in the movie)...I'm going Wolverine on their marketing staff!!!
I don't know I really like X2...its a close call with FOTR!
I finally got to see it last night and I really enjoyed it. I still like the LOTR movies better. Guess I'm just a sucker for that medieval-inspired type of fantasy. I don't read the comics at all but a comic book fanatic at work says that they kept fairly true to the comics. I didn't find it confusing even with all of the subplots. This time I really felt sad for the mutants--how painful it would be to have extraordinary powers but be so feared and misunderstood by society. Can I start a "Down with Love" thread when it's released next week or would all of the Ewan gushing turn you guys off?
Can I start a "Down with Love" thread when it's released next week...
If we can talk about X2...I don't see why the girls can't have their place to go "ga-ga" over Ewan.
Yeah, Ewan is pretty dreamy...
Ewan isn't that bad at all!
Forget Ewan, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine!
Now I'm not gay, but wow!
P.S. Don't tell anyone in West Hollywood that I said that...
::Looks around nerviously::
Don't worry about it, Jon. You can say that a steak looks delicious and still be a vegetarian.
True...but that would make one a rather strange vegetarian...
It was ok. The opening scene was good and the for me it just sort of fell flat. But hey that's me.
It was however, better than the 1st one.
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine!
Nice body and all, but Ewan with the dark hair and blue eyes (like in Moulin Rouge) is just dreamy!
I do like Hugh Jackman too but I don't like his new hair-do!! Ahhhhhh!
As wolverine he is VERY cute!!!
Yeah, I'm following Jade around again. Wanna make something of it?
I liked it. It's nicely set up for X3 if you know anything of X-Men lore. I see how you women could go for Hugh, but what about those X-chicks? Yum yum.
Oh, howdy you nutty Clevelanders
All the little chicks
