The purpose of this topic is to learn about the line that seperates the two.

In your mind, how would you illustrate the differences between an average republican and a neocon in terms of philosophical stance on various issues? At what point of extremism on a given issue would republican philosophy become neocon philosophy?

(Note:for the purpose of this discussion, "neocon" refers to someone who has embraced conservative views to such a degree that the average republican would consider their views differnt from them i.e. killing abortion doctors)

I'll ask a question. What distinguishes a user who creates serious topics from a spammer? It's just a general question, which may or may not apply to anyone specific.
