Write...writing it out helps me a lot. Playing the piano, listening to music, or talking a long drive....those help as well.

I used to go listen to "Zero" by the Smashing Pumpkins over and over, but that didn't really help. Now i just wait it out.

Yes, Preacherboy! When I get stressed I smack people in the face who use your in place of you're. I'm not really anal, but there's just something about the whole your/you're thing that bugs the bloody hell out of me! Seriously, when I get stressed I drink myself stupid. I( then proceed to puke out the stress. Not really. Well, maybe the drinking part
I think everyone should take a cue from the show Friends. Take a Chandler bath while listening to Enya and soaking in bath salts as they effervesce. [face_shocked]
When I'm stressed, I a) sleep it off or b) (furiously) brush my teeth. If neither of those happens to work, then I c) go here.
Read, and play hockey. Bake cookies is another fav. Eat wax candles.
Mostly I just like to smack people who are Anal about grammer on a message board in the head.....but since I can never actually do that I just smack the nearest Dr Who fan....which also takes alot of time to find one and by the then I forget what I'm stressed about
When I stressed, I eat and smoke alone. Then my friends will know that I am stress and they will stay away from me.

I have a nervous breakdown. After the event that I am stressed about passes then I am OK. Listening to music is relaxing, Praying is good, and reading. Get a little snack of something you like and settle down. Though these options rarely occur to me when I'm stressed.
sleep, curl up with a good book, make a nice cup of hot choclate, forget everything i have to do, and watch a good classic movie.
