What do you do when you're depressed?

What can I say, I'm a 'serene' kinda guy

 

Perhaps the better question would be, "What would you do if you weren't depressed?"

 

Or "what do you do to cure depression?"

 

combination b/w 1 and 2, those definatly aren't the words I use....but this is a family board...this is a fmaily board...//is not depressed...is not depressed...has a life...has a life...keeps repeating things...keeps////oh, shrekles.

I try to 'take a sad song and make it better', but sometimes it's 'all too much'.

 

When I'm depressed, (which is rarely), I just get angry at the world and everything in it, and then calm down after about half and hour.

But really, seeing some of the posts on this forum, I have no depression compared to some people...

I get a tub of ice cream, sit my butt down in front of the tv, put in a good movie and fall asleep

 

I'm too much of an optimist to be really depressed.

 

I listen to EBBA GRÖN. Swedish punk music. It always makes me strong.

 

I just lie around and mope.

 

Usually going on a killing spree works for me.

 

I just don't do anythig constructive. I put a sad song on, and read some fic... and whether I eat tons of chocolate, whether I don't eat of all day (being depressed is no fun !!! -- but for the chocolate thing of course ;-) It hardly happens anyway, thanks the Force

 

I do one of the following:

Eat a giant bowl of ice cream in front of the TV

Call up friends and talk for hours about nothing

Play a computer game


Every once in a while it gets so bad I have to make myself really angry to pull myself out of despair. I do that by thinking of what a loser I am for being so weak. It makes me so infuriated I slam my fist into things for a moment, then get onto better things.

 

I usually throw darts at a Sgt Pepper poster.

 

I hit my head with a hammer.

 

That's just disturbed, man!
