I'm self employed and run a small computer shop. My hobbies include all things electronic, computers and trains. Before I built my R2 I was an avid model railroader working in G, Ho, scales. I also run a online radio station called "Sloth Radio Network". You can find out more a bought my hobbies at: www.a-51x.com

Well, my degree is in Art Education K-12, but I couldn't find a job in that field. So I spent 10 years as a corporate trainer and quality assurance specialist in a collections agency. Now I am a compliance coordinator for a mortgage origination company. If I could I would be self employed designing and painting children's rooms. I love building and designing things.

I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology specializing in child and adolescent treatment and an MBA specializing in healthcare facilities management. Currently, I work full time for NYS at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center and I'm in charge of the 40 hours of rehab programming we provide every week to over 180 patients. I also work part time for the VA as a consulting psychologist performing diagnostic evaluations. I used to have a part time private practice working with kids but the hassles and bs of managed care drove me out of business. I also teach one class per week at Medaille. In my spare time, I train 4-8 hrs/wk in Isshin-ryu karate (4th degree Black Belt) and American Kenpo (2nd degree Black Belt); I am working toward certification as a stage combatant; I am the treasurer on the board for Road Less Traveled Productions theater; and, I make short films with my studio, CREAM Productions.

I entered college with the thought of going into Art Education. I transferred schools after my 2 year degree with intentions of becoming an illustrator. I was one of two artists selected by the UB Center for the Arts recruiter who without actually meeting me or the other student, advised my professor that she would "take us immediately" based on our work. I entered the UB Art Dept for Illustration and after a very negative review of my portfolio by the Illustration Dept. head, I switched to Photography and graduated with a Fine Arts Degree in Photography.

Ironically, the Illustration Dept. head was replaced a year after I graduated...

I now work in the IT field, but still do photography on my own terms. My work has been in CEPA gallery in Buffalo, as well as held in the Niagara Falls Public Library local history archives (projects on Love Canal and LaSalle Sr. High School). I photograph historical locations, usually abandoned complexes when I can gain access. As part of my projects, I learn the history of the site so I can understand more of what it is that I'm photographing.

As with many visual artists, I have also crossed media into music and play drums and guitar. I'm a former member of a Christian rock band, releasing a CD nationally that produced 3 singles in the CCM top 40.

I have a BFA in Theater Design Technology from Niagara University. Unfortunately, full time jobs in Buffalo in that field are very difficult to come by. So I currently work full time as a legal assistant at a law firm in Amherst. Outside of that, I work as the Audio Set Up Consultant at Shakespeare in Delaware Park, run audio for a local dance band and I am a Freelance Stagehand at a handful of theaters and for the IATSE Union.

I work in the automotive glass industry. Oddly enough my job itself doesn't have anything to do with glass at all. I travel the country every week doing construction of multi million dollar buildings.

Outside of that I collect things. Movies, video games, comics, and action figures.

Me? Lasertag. Lasertag lasertag lasertag. When I'm not working with it, I'm playing it. I travel the country to attend tournaments and even currently run the Lasertron world championships.
There is a lot more, but that's key. Lasertag and Star wars and that sums up a bulk of everything! :)

I'm a Dental Assistant by day, bookseller by night! I got my NYS license and national certification in 2003 and spent 9 years in a general dentists office. My favorite thing was oral surgery and orthodontics!! Because life's to short and there are only so many things you can control in life, I left general dentistry for a MUCH happier pediatric office. I love my job! I love working with kids, we have a therapy dog who hangs in the office twice a week and my co-workers are like a second family. In my spare time I LOVE to read, so what better way to spend my evenings then putting amazing books into the right peoples hands! So Barnes & Noble became my second income almost a year ago. Otherwise it's my boys that keep me busy.

I left my position of licensed insurance broker in January 2013 due to the uncertainty of the pending insurance changes. I now work 5 minutes away from home for a large international company. What do I do? That depends on the day. I compile monthly invoice data for clients, follow up on past due payments, forward our bills for payment, work on special projects for HR, finance and operations. I am on our compliance team, manage ordering of supplies and am keeper of the extra keys

In January of this year, I became a Six Sigma yellow belt for process improvement
