well yeah its mccafe but the damn thing is in the store so I refer to it as mcdonalds anyway.

but gloria jeans always seem to make it wrong.

and yes starbucks sucks no matter what side of the pond you are on.

dunkin donuts has better coffee and cappucino.

God I so miss the good asian food. Seriously, I had some Thai food that really truly sucked.

I miss Rundle mall thai place I went to all the time. eight bucks for massamun beef that was the best in the world. And the red curry chicken was great.

oh and I can no longer pass by the local airport without wanting to jump on an airplane.

People in Australia don't talk as loudly as people in America, or even Britain for that matter. If you're walking down the street in those places and someone's talking to someone they're with or on a mobile phone, it's like trying to tune out what they're saying because they're all so audible.

Here it's like everyone has the cone of silence around them.

Stick Aussies, Americans, Mexicans, Germans, Italian and French people together at a table and you get loud in 3 different languages... with a fourth language thrown in just because it's the language everyone is learning.

I understand the English part. Lived in Germany for a while.
A day trip to London was a breathe of fresh air.
