ST What do you want to see?

I want to see Hayden as Anakin, because it would make so many people mad and that will be enjoyable

 

Yoda couldn't give us the Choose Life speech from Trainspotting.

 

I wanna see Yoda with his head down a toilet trying to recover his fix.

A great chase sequence. Along with the pod race, my other favs are from The Matrix 2 & Terminator 3.

A real female badass would be new to Star Wars. I mean super badass like Queen Bavmorda or Ellen Ripley.

The Millenium Falcon. Lots of Falcon. We've missed her.

The ticking clock. The trench run is what really started the Star Wars world wide phenomenon. It's the best last second victory in cinema.

David vs. Goliath. Easy to see in the OT. Luke & the Republic were the underdogs you loved to cheer for. The only underdog moment I can think of in the PT was the pod race.

Mystery & wonder. Yoda lifting the X wing out of the swamp still gives me chills. Luke pulling his light saber out of the ice without a second to spare. Anakin & Palpatine at the Opera.

No midichlorians, please.

 

I agree with these points.
There should have been a home ship for the entire PT.
The Battle of Yavin soundtrack is amazing. I can listen to that all day long.

 

I think Luke will die in VII and Leia will die in the next movie...only to come back as force ghost, just like Luke. It would be so unexpected, but I think she will be back as well in the final film at the end celebration. Force ghost Luke and Leia smiling and looking on the festivities of the celebration at the end of IX.

New unvisited planets
New mysterious bounty hunters
New crime lords and criminals (the equivalent of Jabba the Hutt)
A couple of Rancors
Jedi training with Luke Skywalker as the teacher
Unexpected twists and turns (like Lando and Vader)
Finally seeing how strong in the force Luke actually is and...

pretty much everything everyone else already mentioned.

 

Its set 30 years AFTER Episode 6.......settle down folks. Too many bad ideas in this thread.
