Well, I work with horses at a local boarding stable, and teach riding lessons to my friends and their children. For a hobby, I'm a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a historical recreation society that supposedly studies the Middle Ages. I mainly do Equestrian and Bardic (Performance) Arts, although in twenty odd years, I have rather done it all in the SCA.

I also write (fanfic and poetry, and am working on a novel), draw and paint, (watercolours, character portraiture, and calligraphy). I like to cook and bake, and do my friend's dishes.

Other than the pony (Hazel), and my three sons, I haven't got any pets.

    Hows about you?

    *Derisa*

I"m in High School, so I work part time. Other than that, I write and read a lot (everything form fanfic to poetry to novel-esque), and I'm an ameature filmmaker. Actually, that's not quite true... I've made a few films, and I'm saving up to buy a camera. Hopefully this summer.

I'm a architectural project manager and interior and industrial designer!! I spend a lot of time in front of a computer doing drawings and all the other paperwork for construction projects.

I'm into Mtn Biking (or more specifically Downhill and Dirtjumping) and Auto racing. Have lots of other hobbies...rock climbing and such...

I dont have any pets or anything of that sort, and I'm always busy between my life with Alakin Marshwalker and my daughter.

I'm a volunteer childcare specialist, nutritionist, nurse, and educator...in other words, currently I'm a stay-at home mom. ;) I'll likely go back to professional bookkeeping or some other office work after my daughter starts grade one this autumn. We have no pets; watching Derisa come over and wash my dishes is entertainment enough.

My hobbies include singing, costuming, cooking, camping, horseback riding, reading, gaming, music, driving fast, and the rare spot of fiction writing or editing. Like Derisa, I'm in the Society for Creative Anachronism, and in my ten years of medieval recreation there I've done just about everything that's interested me (singing, dancing, fighting, archery, etc.) with the expection of pottery and some other artsy and time-consuming stuff. ;)

Well Dango, i'm an electronics technitian in the good ol' Canadian Navy (14.6 years). When not at work i like to play board and roleplaying games (D&D3.5e, SW d20, mutants and masterminds and d20 Modern), take and develop B&W pictures, make SW decipher trading card decks (for fun only as i make both light and darkside decks that play off one another), Warhammer ancients tabletoping and snuggling with my wife of nearly two years (since marrying not her age!). I also like to host nickel, dime and quarter poker games and watch films (silents, Studio Ghibli and Hitchcock are my current faves).

And i'll take what's behind turbochute number two Monty!

I'm with 443 Maritime Helicopter Squadron's Air Reserve Flight - clerk, but I do get to fly a fair amount. To our Navy guy --- yes, I actually volunteer to fly in the silly Sea Things (Sea Kings). I've logged over 20 hours so far, going to airshows and just cruising.

I'm a Master Costumer on the WorldCon circuit and I competed at Celebration II, winning second place in the top category. My entry was the original blue gown titled: Investiture of the Naboo Ambassador.

As of 1998 I am a life member of the Association of Science Fiction/Fantasy Artists. You can view my work at my website. * permission to post website address requested, please *

Finally, in January 2004 I published my first novel. There are copies of HALF A RUNE in Munro's Books.

    Absolutely, permission granted!

In fact, post it in the "Share a Good Star Wars Link!" thread and/or anywhere else in Victoria's forum that you deem it appropriate, but just not on all appropriate threads on the same day. Spread it out over a few weeks, perhaps, or all those threads will be "upped" at the same time. ;)

I'm the Navy Reservist guy, and I wasn't gonna say anything about the 30 year old, held together with paracord and guntape pieces of flying lead, but hey you do it for fun, and if the gov't doesn't screw it up were gonna get new ones. I have to travel up and down the west coast in a brand new boat built with off the shelf parts, engines designed for tanks, flat bottomed hulls so we bob like corks in sea state 3, (thats a lil rough) made by Canadians on the East coast (I guess that's a good thing), but hey at least we finally got guns on are boats now! We are very intimidating....... to canoists! (We might run them over) Our main gun is a 40mm bofor the pride of our ship..... has the stamp of King George on it, and it was taken off the Bonaventure, but hey the pride of our ship!
But I'm not bitter some times they actually let us come home. Bonus is I get to meet SW fans from up and down the west coast =) It's a full time job, and it allows me the oppourtunity to buy all my trinkets.

Oh and all you people in school, stay there, find a great job make more money than me and buy a suit of armor and a blaster! =)

Randy: If you're on one of the new mine sweepers, you're SUPPOSED to bob like a cork! High profile to avoid mines!?! And, hey, the Sea Things may be old (kind of like me) but they do get the job done --- most of the time. There's a story I can't tell here unfortunately that would make you laugh.

Well if any of you are interested in what I do other than being one of the two RSAs for Canada, the manager of the FanForce collectors market, and the manager of the JC Collectors forum, I am a project manager in real life for a North American brokerage Company. I am in IT and have been for 20 years now. I have a decent sized Star Wars collection and are in to home theatre, cooking, gardening ( collect Hostas) and Cars.

They maybe new Minesweepers (then again so is the food in the meal hall... suposedly) but they still bob like corks. Yah I know the reason why anti Mine stuff and all. But after doin this for almost 12 years I kinda get tired of goin green and hurkin my cookies, and they don't post us MESO tyes anywhere else.
By the way CM what was that thing in the brackets you collect?

Me my collection is of course Stormtrooper gear, gotta nice collection of Resin Blasters growin, my latest projects; my imperial officers tunic (white ISB) is almost finished, workin on tryin to complete my Red Mandalorian outfit for the DVD release, and a revised Royal Guard cloak gauntlets and calf huggers for C3.
