    Must admit, I intend to get it too. I meant "abomination" in a relative sense of course. It doesn't hold a torch to the original.

    I loved Escape though! Easily the best of the sequels. Then again, I also liked the Star Trek film with the whales.

    I have to say I prefer Mr. NRA's version better, but if you read Boulle's book then you'd probably call them both a bit of an abomination.

    But Burton's was a bit of fun.

    I don't know how much of a fundamentalist he is, what with all his Bible story performances, but I think the whole role he played in the first PotA is funny. Considering the religion/science examination.

    Why not?

    I thought I should start to balance out my collection. So far, the majority of genre is Science Fiction & Action. It would be nice to have more Drama, Comedy, etc...

    As my sister is pregnant, expecting birth in March, I will probably start to invest in kids films, that adults can watch as well, such as Shrek, Monsters Inc, Bugs Life, Ants, etc...
