What ever Happend to the Shadow Chaser.

It was supposed to be the most powerful ship legaly given by the Jedi. Leia legaly put it under Lukes possesion while still in charge of the New Republic. so why hasent used it. It is supposed to be one of the most well armored and Armed private craft in the galaxy.

Maybe they made the thing on a monday, and it ended up being a lemon.

Either that or out of personal preference, Luke just can't give up flying an X-Wing.

 

But YJK takes place 1 year before NJO.

Maybe it had an accident, and crashed, [/b]OR maybe it stayed the Academy as an emergency transport, but it was destroyed before anyone could remeber it was there! It was demolised with the Academy!

 

Didn't that thing have Quantum Armor? A crash wouldn't've done much to it...

The armor of the YVH War-Droids is supposed to be stronger than Quantum armor.

EU limbo. Plus, if it's indestructable, how do you forge it to get it on there? Or do you spray it on, or what? Also, even if the armor itself is indestructible, there's got to be seams in it for the in/egress hatch and any external sensors or weapons. Plus, it's insanely expensive. In other words, not all it's cracked up to be.

It's not stronger, IIRC, it's just that it's a smart metal, or that they have a reserve or something, so that when it's damaged it can fix and replace itself for a while.

The old war droids from Dark Empire could do that that too, it's not a new quality. I was under the impression that it was effectively stronger than Quantum armor, or at least around as good but less expensive.

 

Shadow Chaser
Garowyn's state-of-the-art, quantum-armored starship used to transport potential Jedi to the Shadow Academy. When Luke Skywalker and Tenel Ka infiltrated the station, they stole the Shadow Chaser as their escape ship. The New Republic confiscated the ship, but later gave it to Luke for his own use. It was put it to good use at the Jedi praxeum on Yavin 4 as a transport


So yeah, I think it is what Streen was off using in Conquest.



I just thought. Noone told him that Yavin had been invaded. How'd he find out?
