What game features the best lightsaber combat?

Jedi Academy had the best lightsaber combat, but KotOR gets my vote for the most detailed lightsaber combat.

 

I would Say ROTS. You can actually block attacks in that. Plus, there are those additions so you can go Vader and beat the crap out of people with stuff in the room. That's cool.

I have always thought about this.

As I gave suggested many times, there should eventually be a SW game where the duels are mainly clashing of sabers and force powers until one of the players gets a solid shot in.

The closest to realistic and cool the Jedi Knight titles but KOTOR looks the best .

 

Either ROTS, the Star Wars arcade game, or Lego Star Wars

 

You havent played JKA until you've played it for PC. Youll find its more than mashing buttons when you become good at it.

 

None actually. Yes the Ep3 game came close but it still did not look like realistic lightsaber fighting especially with those combo moves. I wouldn't count KOTOR since you don't do the fighting in that game.

With JK you don't get much lightsaber contact. It's all just jumping and running until somehow you kill your enemy in an unorthodox fashion.

I'm still waiting for a game that features good lightsaber combat.

For the best Saber combat game, I vote JK: Jedi Academy.

KOTOR's combat usually ends after one force jump with my dual wielding jedi guardian/sith marauder, or a few rounds of Force Storms from my jedi consular/(whatever prestige class). Basically, they never lasts long enough for me to get a feel of lightsaber combat.

 

ROTS for the combos, Obi-Wan for the level of control. If they could combine those two somehow..

 

Obi-Wan's saber control is the best. Using the stick just seemed more natural. How the game allowed you to use the Force was also good.
