And also, as the OP said, Call of Duty. Every time I play CoD, I think how awesome it would be if there was a Star Wars version.

 

make an M rated boba fett game, featuring the option to either go in stealthy, or full on mandalorian assault style.
seriously, lucasarts needs some M rated games, no matter what the company says about appealing to everyone.
Hell, the most violent sequences ever seen in star wars have come from the books!

 

Go play Republic Commando and go splatter bug guts all over yourself.

Gears of War
Inspired by the following:

Sergeant Dessel (aka Darth Bane) and Senior Trooper Adanar would slot into the "Marcus and Dom" roles. This game would also ideally retcon the wooden bows and arrows of Jedi vs. Sith into torque-bowesque devices. (Rather than just replacing them with blasters like Drew did)

This game isn't even out yet and I already know that I want a Star Wars version. Ideally it would be called "Solo" or "Sword" and feature a Jaina Solo who had decided to adopt two rapid-fire blasters in addition to her lightsaber... but I'd settle for Aurra Sing or Mara Jade, too.

Grand Theft Auto IV
Protagonist (smuggler/scoundrel archetype) must work off his debt to a Hutt Crime Boss (or whatever) and rises through the criminal underworld of a particular planet/system/whatever. Black Sun would probably be involved, too.

Planescape: Torment
Star Wars CRPG written by Chris Avellone, featuring a protagonist who wakes up to confusing events in, or nearby, a morgue and then proceeds to... wait a minute!!!

 

How about an old-school side-scrolling brawler, ala Turtles in Time? Imagine Jedi Power Battles, only set in the OT/post-OT era. And, you know, good.

And SW could always go the Mario route with countless sports-based titles. Actually, a "Mario Party"-style game with SW-themed puzzles, settings, and characters could be cute.

A Smash Bros. clone might be cool, too.

 

I've always thought it would be great to see a Han Solo/smuggler style (BBY) video game that incorporates the sandbox style of gameplay from Grand Theft Auto et al. Yeah, it would be a blatant rip-off, but so what.

 

They need to make a stealth game where you're a Jedi. During the Clone Wars would be great. Old Republic/post-ROTJ era would also work. But don't make me a Sith. Games where I'm the bad guy have never been compelling to me. And enough with the moral choice/multiple ending thing. It's done to death and I'm not just talking about Star Wars games. The premise in this game would be that you're sent to key enemy locations where the chaces of success in a direct attack were slim, but as we all know: "There are alternatives to fighting". So you're sent to sabotage or for gathering intelligence or whatever else there is along those lines.

A Star Wars version of The Old Republic

 

I would like IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey to get the Star Wars treatment.

I would call this game TIE Fighter: Empire.

Anyway, I was playing Soul Calibur 4, and since it had Star Wars characters, I was thinking..."Why not a Star Wars fighting game?"...or, at least one better than the last one (that shouldn't be too hard). Specifically, one based around gladiators, like in that Clone Wars episode.

Seriously, how awesome would that be? A Jedi with the SW equivalent of a Hookshot or Din's Fire traversing through temples and dungeons on various planets. A massive lightsaber duel at the end with a Sith where you bat Force lightning back and forth to each other on lightsabers--then at the end, the Sith Lord metamorphs into a giant ****ing minotaur.
