What Games You Want LucasArt's To Release?

(My apologies if this topic has been covered)

Well 2006 is upon us, new consoles meaning new line up from LucasArts at the E3. The question is, what would you like to see? On my wish list: -

- Star Wars Republic Commando 2: One of my favorite SW games. Characters and story were exciting, and the game play changed our normal FPS. Sequel can easily be based on the events of ROTS, including Order 66. Combined with new weapons and tactics.

- KOTOR 3: Already confirmed.

- Star Wars Rogue Squadron 4: I really think LucasArts should change the rules of this game. We always seem to be playing the Battle Of Hoth and Endor all the time. Though they were excellent I think the formula is starting to show its age. My suggestions: Base the game on the Imperials, I.E: TIE bombers ordered to bring down cities, then swap to TIE fighters to protect them. Another suggestion: Expanded Universe, new levels, new planets, possibly introduce the Yuuzhan Yong.

With the announcement of Nintendo releasing the Revolution, surely LucasArts have these types of ideas:

- Star Wars Jedi Knight 4: Using the revolution controller, we can now control the lightsaber, so having first person view lightsaber battles is possible. From blocking, sabers, blaster fire, to using force push, pull, choke it?s all there. We can also use the system to have a more accurate FPS.

- Indiana Jones: Using the controller, we point and aim Indy's whip, either to swing from ledges or disarming enemies.

New XWA game for computer. Fly sims lose something when they are for consoles.

 

I'll take ANY flight sim for the PC. And note to LucasArts: Battlefront is NOT a flight sim.

 

I agree with the above suggestions of a new X-wing/Tie Fighter flight sim, as long as it eventually comes out for Mac, too.

 

I would like to see a Battlefront 2 Space Edition for the PS3! Not like BF2, but with the actual Yavin battle from ANH running the trench and the whole nine yards!

 

I just want KOTOR 3 and and flight sim. People are saying they're getting boredof the Battle of Yavin and stuff (like the Trench Run), well I'VE NEVER DONE IT!

I'd be happy with a port of either of the GameCube Rogue Squadron games, onto the PC. With online multiplay added.

 

How about an Indy game where the whip is used like in the movies - ie sparingly. Not as some super-weapon and instand rope-swing. Anyway no new Indy game until the new movie, and that's 2007 at the earliest.

 

Star Wars: Fugitive

A Star Wars mercenaries, with online play, more extensive storyline, custom skins, upgradable weapons, custom weapons/explosives.

 

Something not Star Wars related.

Or if it is Star Wars related, not the movies. That well is dry, it's time to move on.

 

Continue the Outcast/Academy series, in different settings: the KOTOR years, something a few years pre-TPM, the Clone Wars, and some more post-ROTJ.

 

Make a video game series out of the Zahn Trilogy.

Port all the "Monkey Island" games to the X Box.

 

A new flightsim as I keep hearing how great X-Wing and TIE Fighter were but, I never got to play them.

The next game in the Jedi Knight series though, I'd rather see Kyle as the star instead of Jaden if they set it in the post-ROTJ era. If not a generic Old Republic Jedi would be nice, or Quinlan.

A replacement for Galaxies that wasn't as messed up.

 

Im waiting for MASS EFFECT, its published by lucasart i think, and its supposed to be a more futuristic Earth type game

Amen, brother. Get it through your skulls, Lucasarts, there is a market. We want X-Wing games. Get Lawrence Holland back. PLEASE.

 

Another X-Wing Game... Tie fighter Empire would be awesome, just start it after Endor and end it post Dark Empire.

Game versions of the Thrawn Trilogy books would be awesome as well, imagine missions like:

When did LucasArts say Battlefront was a flight sim?

 

A 3-D RTS game a la the Total War series. I have Battlegrounds, but it's 2D and is a base builder.

If they could pull something together with 3-D effects and little to no base building, it'd be great! You could already have your base of operations set up, and you control the strategies of the armies.

I'd like to see a game where it's all bounty hunting. You could play as one, or create your own and go aroudn the universe hunting Jedi or whatever. Of course, you could also have teh option of playing as somebody getting hunted, and you'd have to take them out first. I'm thinking RPG here. You could hunt Chewbacca as Bossk...that'd be fun!

 

STAR WARS: Order 66

It woudl be a game where you either play as or against the clones. The purpose is obvious. Do you get wiped out by the armies, or do you survive and start a new order to thwart the uprising Empire? Do you start the rebellion, or do you hunt down teh noble Jedi?

It coudl be a mix of strategy RTS and RPG...or even as a shooter. The choice would be yours.

I think that'd be a sweet game!
