I would say New Republic!
Dang, I voted NR, but I just remembered that all Hapen women are hotties.
Hey Funny_Twin, I thought you were male Only a woman can be the queen mother of Hapes.
That said, I voted for Hapes
Corporate Sector for me, thankyou. A nice, small, corrupted government.
Yea fishi, I know only women are in charge, but I just like that strong, dominant woman thing.
I'd live under the Empire.
Sure there's no freedom of speech. But I'd rather live with a government that just gets down to business and does things, rather than one that disagrees and never does anything. Anakin was right about the dictatorship in ATOC. The Empire would have been able to competently wage war against the Vong. Their massive fleet, endless armies and the fact that Thrawn would have probably been defending the outer rim ensures victory. Vong technology would be absolutely no match for a fully operational Death Star 2, or a Sun Crusher or the Galaxy Gun or Emperor Palpatine himself (Remember those nasty force storm destruction wormholes he used to open up every now and then?).
Plus the galaxy was a much more lively, interesting place before the New Republic.
I would rather be an Imperial Citizen, than a New Republic Citizen anyday. The New Republic simply can't defend itself it relies too much on the luck of the Solo/Skywalkers. No matter how bad Palpatine was he was always better than New Republic fools like the Qurren Pwoe or Borsk Fey'la.
What would you rather have, limited freedom due to the emperor's rule and security, or have limited freedom due to the New Republic's endless Statutes and Laws and be dead at the hands of the Vong?
New Republic because it's the least stable and therefore easiest to overthrow and establish a new government.
I totally agree Darth_Reign , nice said
look @ our own world , Democracy leads to nothing (except excuses for criminals)
i would offer my (a part)freedom to see all scumb in jail
The empire would have toasted the vong at Bilbringi
The New Republic.
"Those who will give up essential liberties for temporary security deserve neither liberty nor security."
the new republic is corrupt, it can easily be taken advantage of.
I agree with inf. hte ripublic simply cannot agree.
A government based on science and knowledge. I think they should have little commities with a lot of power for each area. They will solve problems that the people have.
This is a good subject.
NR, but hey, if people want to live under a dictatorship that performs ethnic cleansic and is both sexist and Xenophobic, then fine
I'd have to say the Empire. Star Destroyers and Death Stars, and Grand Admirals. Buh-bye Yuuzhan Vong.
i prefer democracy over dictatorship. Cuba is a dictatorship and loo how things are there.
i live in Canada, and here it's a democracy, and even though we do have our problems, the liberty of speech and our freedom makes up for all the government's minor flaws. therefore, i picked the New Republic.
I said NR. Even though its become corrupt in the NJO series, its still IMO the best option
I thinkwe should design a new one.
I will probably have to say the one that is going to be created after the defeat of the YV
I'm going with zee Old Republic. Things seemed fun then.
There's no option to vote for the vong or some sort of oligarchy run by the rogues and al lthe other good pilots, so i'll say other.
"Democracy is a terrible system. The only form of government that's worse is all the others."- Mary Albright, Third Rock From the Sun
Democracy is far from perfect, but no one's managed to come up with a system that truly works yet.
I have to go with the Hapens. I love women in charge, especially beautiful ones.
I mean, if the former Queen Mother is still a fox, what about there 20 somethings?
I'd have to say the Exocron govornment of the Kathol Rift.
Anyone who causes trouble gets thrown out of an air-lock, there is no military to oppress the people, defence is handled by the most competent leader who controlls all of the spaceworthy vessels in times of crisis, and there is no functioning govornment
There is no need for freedom of speech because there is nothing to speak out against. Everyone minds their own buisness, troublemakers are permanently removed, and its buisness as ususal.
There is no govornment like no govornment
