Roch, NY What happened at the meeting today (5/11/02)?

Hey folks,
I couldn't make it to the meeting today (I had a birthday party for my best friend's three year old to go to instead). Can anyone post the details of what happened today?

Hi Jeff... we missed ya today!

About 1/2 of those who were there wore a costume... no camera crew though.
Dean collected $$$ for shirts and tix. He said he will be contacting you Re: Payment.

A lot of members were whacking eachother with the plastic lightsabers...

Scott B. set up a table of his troop figures (that kept getting repeatedly bumped, knocking over all the figures)...

Jeff B. and Whitney brought some things to show...

I brought a coupla prop sabers with acrylic blades to show off...

The newsletter was finished, but then when I got home I decided to tweak it some more... didn't seem to be much interest in it though...

Lotsa talk about the different showings, promotional material that Dean brought, etc...

No mention of when the next meeting will be...

Yes and it was fun putting those friggin troopers back up time after time after time after time...I think it was 4 or 5 times. Then those foolish Jedis attacked them...you Jedi women....grrrr

 

All us Jedi women were puting them back up. Then when we were almost done a sith woman knocked them down again.

 

sorry scott I knock down everything I touch... after that my mom starting telling everyone about me chasing a car with a sledge hammar when I was about 5... no memory of that.

I didn't knock any of them over!!!!! Well, the ones that I was putting back up fell over a few times... And it's ok Alison, it didn't really hurt, I just gotta bring a cup on Thursday....

 

That sounds that like a good idea. I also need a light saber that doesn't try and attack people by flying 20 feet. Poor pedestrians won't know what hit them.

my mom just told me that I was not five with the sledgehammer, more like 2....

 

that doesn't make sence a 2 year old shouldn't be able to lift a sledge hammer.

 

yes, Alison but you knocked them over the first time and if you hadn't been setting them back up I wouldn't have been anywhere near the table.
Oh and Alison didn't you also knock some sort of heavy apliance on your head?

But anyways, it doesnt matter who really knocked them over, I hope the pictures taken come out good and go on the website or something. Two Days and 4 Finals till Episode 2

 

I'm sorry, but no one can lift a sledge hammer when they're 2, and especially you Alison, ur not THAT strong. Well, maybe not in muscle, but you sure are in heart.
