What happened in Darth Vader vs. Darth Maul

    I know they had some battl in SW Tales... whatever was the conclusion of that? Who won?

    Vader killed him.

    Maul was winning the battle, claiming that his hatred made him stronger, since Anakin Skywalker had a spark of good left within him and Maul had none. Just as he was about to deliver the final blow, Vader ignited his lightsaber and ran him through. It ended with this, rather impressive, exchange:

    "Impossible. What could you have possibly hated enough to kill me?"

    "Myself."
