I know the games were getting on in years and the multiple player community may have been wavering. There was a huge community though and shortly before LA went away they gave the source to Academy opening it up to even more possibilities...

So many great mods, maps are gone now. Beautiful maps of locations never visited before in Star Wars games and never visited since. Hours and hours of work, dedication gone. I even made a map myself...

It' s probably hard to even find a copy of GTKRadiant now...

What happened!? I can't find anything! Is it all gone?

Oh, the web site has been redesigned I think... here it is I think...

If you didn't know, Filefront shut down. A lot of maps and mods were lost when this happened and not just for JKA but other games were effected as well such as Battlefront 1/2, Empire at War and etc.

This was the old Filefront site jediknight3.filefront.com

Yeah, how awful. That's just terrible. So many great maps lost.

Have you tried using the Wayback Machine to see if you can find anything?

Wayback Machine only allows you to see everything, you can't actually download them though since the files are missing.

I'm hoping that with the new crop of Star Wars games we're going to be seeing from EA on the horizon, that we get a sequel to Jedi Knight. Jedi Academy was one of my favorite games back in the day.
