What happened to Yaddle?

I was watchin TPM and AOTC today and realized Yaddle is all of a sudden gone. What happened to that old greeny.

Second, Where are Yoda and Yaddle from? I have never heard

 

according to the Expanded Universe she was killed sometime between Episode I and II. I forget how.
Yoda and Yaddle species has been kept a mystery by lucas

No, they're no called "whills". That's the name of something Lucas wrote that inspired Star Wars or something like that.

I believe Yaddle died absorbing a toxin into herself to protect a city (and Anakin and Obi Wan) from being exposed to it. On a bit higher note though, she did vanish and become one with the force
