What has been your favorite moment on the 3SA?

Wow, this is making me remember way back to before I registered...

I think I will always remember Darth Friday. And when the teaser got released. That was a great moment on the boards.

Any time I was flaming someone in a post by calling them an ignorant retard. Not in those exact words though.

 

Emos-edud v. JeremyPeeler...at least I think that was the user's name. Those were some classic debates.

And Palpatine is not a clone of Sidious.

 

the "Grovus" thread was a classic. Any way to pull up old threads that were locked like that... would love to read that again.

 

My favorite moment...

The guy who argued that movies in THX were far superior than those in 5.1 or DTS. As if THX was an actual sound instead of a certification.

He even posted a pic of his living room that was clearly from a magazine.

Not really EPIII related, but still my favorite moment.

 

Favorite moment? That's easy - the ascension of a certain goon into the ranks of the Mods. If I had known that would shut him up, I would have lobbied day and night to get him that spot. It's actually been kind of nice around here ever since...

 

whenever the "Mortor" GIF or Bunny/pankake picture is brought up.

Yep yep this is definitely my all time most remembered. Almost makes me want to see it again just for old times sake. [face_laugh][face_laugh]

Favorite moments for me in no particular order include:

- Yoda farting.

- Bob's amazing re-directing skills (still not sure how he does it).

- __Obi-1___'s 24+ hour tenacity, all for picture of General Greivous (if I remember correctly) which we never received (until months later, of course).

- The people who would argue that Palpatine was a clone till their fingers fell off from typing so angrily.

- Threads why Jar-Jar should die.

- Threads why Jar-Jar should be in ROTS more.

- Threads where a single lightsaber difference lead to absolute anarchy around here (Ian McD. holding Anakin's lightsaber in one shot, for example).

- The "Grievous is really Darth Maul" threads.

- General Grovus. He doesn't like Anakun.

EDIT: How could I forget the yellow banner? I was one of the ones who posted "My eyes are burning!!" in the "My eyes are burning" thread!

There was a day right around the end of December 04 when dozens of spoiler movie pics were leaked over a 24-hour period. That was the highlight for me.

The last true JC-spawned bootleg/spoiler. MF crushed TFN the rest of the way when it came to the spoiler game this time.

 

Being told about the Star Wars Holiday Special and then watching it. Now I know that if I can endure something that bad, I can survive anything. Seriously, seeing Chewies wife watching an intergalactic cooking show as she makes dinner for "life day" has got to be one of the most surreal and horrible experiences one can have. It made me a stronger person though.
