FF:SA What have they got that we don't?

Sydney, Melbourne and Perth are all showing ROTS at their local Moonlight Cinema. Adelaide and Brisbane missed out

Anyone feel like getting a projector and hanging a sheet up in the park for a night out

 

At my place ... sometime ... for sure

 

If we can organise a big white sheet and a place to hang it up, I'd be there

 

Minor financial pressures this holidays (ie I bought an MR Mace Windu, an interactive R2, spent too much on nights out and bought too many video games) have caused me to put my projector plans (or big tv, haven't decided yet) on hold for the time being. Hence the 6 movie + Clone Wars DVDs marathon has been put on hold....

...when it does come to pass, EVERYONE will know

Edit: Oh, you don't use a sheet, you can get special paint for your wall (very expensive) or a proper screen. I've investigated these things...

I know a guy who runs a moonlight cinema in the Barossa valley if you wanted to organise something more local could try him.

Would have to check availability of venues and such,and might be showing it anyway.I'll e-mail and ask.

 

But it can be done with a sheet, I've seen it

 

Well my guy at cinema alfresco says if you want to do it it's fairly easy to set up since it's on DVD(no hiring of 35mm film).He's got a transportable screen,sound system and a DLP.

Don't know if we'd have the numbers for more than a backyard event though.(possible fund raiser?)

Patience may yield results my friends. January, unfortunately, will be passed by, but April looks oh so promising
