    Not to upstage anyone but what foods that you have eaten most resemble something out of Star Wars?

    Mine: Anything out of the "Lotus Pond" on Johnson St. Great food but what a weird but good tasting thing bean curd is!

    Rani and I have long referred to sushi as "Calamarian cuisine". :)

    Stuff that not only tastes odd, but looks like it could have been from a Star wars movie? Well, for me that list would include:

    Tripe, deep-fried prawn heads, green tea ice cream with red bean paste, coconut jello, fried herring roe on toast, rollmops, smoked mackerel (wholly intact, head and all), eel, tofu, vegemite, fried herring roe on toast, pickled salmon roe, raw oysters, and herring roe sushi served with a raw quail's egg on top.

    I really dislike tripe.
