People will laugh at and believe just about anything if you tell it to them in just the right way, be it a bogus rumor about a flamesaber or leaving a ghastly mess in a public restroom.
People will label you something that they themselves are off the boards.
It's called transference.

Apparently people have to name their kids based on their race. Well, too bad for you, white people. I was going to honor you by calling my kid Arthur Wilhelm Louie George Juan Carlos Julius Philip Harold Washington. Either that or Lancelot. It's all down the drain now!
