about the old Fan Force forums:
The 'go to next newest topic' link at the bottom of each page.

I miss the feel of the old boards. I just don't feel the overwhelming need to post on this board, or visit it as often.

Yeah! You don't post nearly as much here anymore! I miss you! Come back! We played a mad libs game already on the St. Louis forum and you didn't enter! I was heartbroken! Turn back to the light side! Maybe these snowboards people could give us shades of something "other" than grey!

Oh, here's what I miss in addition to Salacious. I miss the dumb icons, even the thumbs up! It was fun to have those little bits of color and personality. Isn't that special?

Actually, BF, the Snowboards have basicly the same feature, except that it's at the top and is called "Next Active Topic". :D There is also a "Previous Active Topic"....

    I miss the smileys.

I miss the smilies, too. I also miss the nice gentle look of FF - softer. Plus, when it would automatically take you back to the thread you posted in, so you could double check your spelling. :)

Font attributes were nice. Pics were nice. Hyperlinks were nice. Message icons were nice. Let's face it - Snowball bites.

Thank you SD for the tip. But, it still sucks because it is at the top of the page. Now I have to scroll forever on the cut and pasted FF threads.

Yeah, Snowboards suck. (tm JediJeff13, 2000)

I hear what you're saying about scrolling on those threads, too... and they take so blasted long to load up sometimes, too! Arrgh!

I really hate how you can't edit your response after the first hour. I need editing or erasing capabilities. Sometimes it takes a day for me to notice my errors or stupidity.

Yeah, And the UBB boards looked cooler.
It took me 5 minutes to log in.
and why did they get rid of UBB anyway?

Yes, the holiday decorations are funny... I think the neatest touch is the guy on the side, 2nd from bottom (I forget most of the Jedi Council's names.... ;) who seems all decked out for Kwanzaa.
