What I was told when I was younger

I don't know if i am just being naive, but i remember when the movies 4,5,& 6 were coming out, I was told that George Lucas had the complete story line which would include 7,8 and 9. That he was going to release 1,2,and 3 and then go to the final episodes. I have been anticipating this pretty much my entire life since i first saw episode 6. So with that said, is this just a cruel hoax??? I certainly hope not. Otherwise, i am kind of disappointed... BY the way, Episode 3 kicks some major ass!!!


1. As you have no doubt read in other threads, there will be no 7-8-9.
2. The decision to not do 7-8-9 was made back in the making-ROTJ days. Most of their story was condensed into ROTJ.
3. Lucasfilm Projects is not a place to discuss Star Wars, but other LFL enterprises like American Graffiti, THX-1138, Indiana Jones, etc.
